It was just about six weeks ago that a trio of Nike Air Max 90s released in tonal black plus accents in grey and one other color. The parts that popped from that ‘Tri-Color Pack’ were reflected on the unique tongue tag on each pair; does this new Air Max 90 for women suggest there are more Metallic Silver joints on the way? It’s clear that the bottom soft blue insignia on the tags for this pair match its laces, anterior midsole, outsole and Air bubble, but because the blue color is so neutral, you could achieve a vaguely similar result with a simple lace swap. Check out these baby-blue accented moonboots in more images after the jump then pick up a pair from Nike Sportswear dealers including SneakersNStuff.

As we march toward the end of 2011, a number of Nike Sportswear previews have surfaced with small glimpses here and there of what’s to come. The latest round of preview images is, other than arguably the Air Force 1, NSW’s most popular silhouette. The Nike Dunk High will return next summer in at least four new colorways, all of which feature the model’s signature white midsole. They also have white outsoles, which gives each of these new looks a distinctly crisp and clean feel. Take a peek at each one after the jump, let us know which one’s your favorite and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Nike Dunk release dates. via CK

In 2007, Jordan Brand introduced the Air Jordan III ‘Flip’ which focused on a ‘Freaky Friday’ swap of the smooth leather and elephant print on the upper. The Air Jordan III is one design that’s hard to tamper with, but the idea of the ‘Flip’ and overall execution was well received and landed the Air Jordan III ‘Flip’ a high mark among non-OG Air Jordan Retros. For 2011, Jordan Brand will re-introduce the Air Jordan III ‘Flip’ in a new colorway – a ‘reverse’ version of the first White-based colorway. This flip of the flip (or double flip) features a tonal black upper with a grey outsole and Metallic Silver trim. Other differences? The $25 price increase from the first Air Jordan III Flip. The Black Flip is set for a release later this year so stick with Sneaker News for more release information and enjoy the nice comparison gallery below. via soleawesome/SC.

While it makes sense for the majority of Dwight Howard’s sneakers to be done up in blue and white thanks to the Orlando affiliation, the man also has to give a nod to his “Superman” moniker. Comic book heads out there know that The Man of Steel’s costume is equal parts blue and red so here you go, a university red/white version of the adidas adiPower Howard to serve as a counterpart to the blue and whites we showed you a while back. Check out the full look of this new basketball offering from adidas after the jump and let us know if you like em’ more than the other releases we’ve seen from Dwight Howard’s line. Grab these now from the adidas store online.

In terms of both Nike’s own naming conventions and their material applications, we’ve seen plenty of ‘premium’ All Conditions Gear boots over the years. But when the above pictured model made an unexpected debut this past weekend, it carried with it a sense of style and performance befitting a name like the Nike ACG Premium Boot. These joints are crafted with VacTech molding on the upper that’s shielded from the elements by a GoreTex sockliner, and when paired with a full-length Max Air cushion, represents the pinnacle combination of style and function from the Swoosh’s outdoor line. Have a closer look at this Midnight Fog and Dark Copper colorway after the jump and look for them at top Nike Sportswear dealers like Miami’s ShoeGallery.

Vans California is a brand that on the surface would engender feelings of warm summers, by its previous releases is prepared for some serious chillin’ whenever and wherever, and from its most recent previews, plans on spending most of its time closer to the Sierra Nevada than the Pacific coast. The Switchback boots we just saw were no surprise in terms of both quality and ruggedness, but applying that second quality to the new Vans California Mid Skool ’77 requires adding D-ring eyelets and corded laces along with the ’Hiker Pack’ distinction. Pairs in black, Bison feature contrasts on those laces while the Silver Mink edition goes tonal but adds shearling to the sockliner for a warm and cozy feel. Check out the entire set and let us know what you think by clicking on the jump below. via FNG

News regarding this latest release happened in the weeks immediately following their Sky Force 88 collabos with Nike Sportswear, but since mid-July, we’ve not heard so much as a peep from Shawn Stussy’s eponymous clothing label. Word was that the Stussy Deluxe x Converse CX-Pro Ox was going to release later that month, but the days turned into weeks turned into two months and they still never made it out. But that all changes now with word that these navy and white lowtops are now available from Stussy‘s Japanese e-store; are they worth the effort it’ll take to get a pair?

It might be a long while before we see Dwyane Wade rocking Air Jordan PEs again. Most of those sightings came before the debut of the Jordan Fly Wade and Air Jordan 2011. In fact, Sneaker News showed you in-game shots of Wade rocking the PEs in a game against the Indiana Pacers in January of 2010, but it was only a week ago when we gave you some detailed shots of this White/Red/Yellow colorway. Here we have an additional detailed look at the Air Jordan XII Dwyane Wade Home PE, which is similar to the White/Varsity Red original but with yellow accents on the upper. Want these in your collection? Check out the auction from oregonsole on eBay.

The city of Miami can be represented by a vast rainbow of colors. We often associate it with the tropical notes of aqua blue, salmon orange, and hot pink, or even a pure white and deep blue to represent South Beach‘s famous Art Deco district and the nearby beaches. So what does this upcoming high-energy colorway of the Nike LeBron 9 represent? Combine the two-toned grey/black upper with rich accents of Cherry red and a royal purple, and you’ve got something that might resemble the South Beach strip of nightclubs, or perhaps this is another ‘Heroes’ reference to the Air Jordan VII ‘Raptors’? In any case, Sneaker News brings you this first exclusive look at the Nike LeBron 9 in the Cool Grey/Vivid Grey-Black-Cherry colorway (‘Nightclub’, ‘Raptors’, enter-your-guess-here), which is currently set for a November 11th release. We’ve got detailed images for you below, so take a good look and give us your best suggestion on what this new color-combo could signify, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more Nike LeBron 9 info.
