Jordan Brand Unveils Holiday 2011 Signature Lineup

Jordan Brand has a huge army of fans awaiting every single retro release and discussing the upcoming drops before the official release dates have even been set, so when JB breaks out a countdown clock, you know they’re prepared with something big. The timer just ended at 2pm EST and with it came news of the latest signature models for Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Dwyane Wade. The Jordan Melo M8 embraces its New York roots and goes for lightweight strength. Paul’s CP3.V keeps the series’ signature ankle-cut lowtop shape and goes for a similar advantage of lightweight ventilation found on the Fly Wade II. Each of these is sure to see a variety of colorways and player exclusives, so stick with Sneaker News as we’ll keep you updated on all these coming models.

Sounds like Jordan Brand should just give their target audience(everyone under 24, coz everyone over 24 has them all ready... + everyone on this blog) what they want. Retro after retro after retro of the Jordan 1,3,4,5,6,7,9,11,+12 in original colorways... and sometimes new colorways every now and then, and be done with trying anything new. The Air Jordan's haven't been relevant since he last wore them, the 2009, 2010 window, 2011 have all come and fallen by the wayside. MJ hasn't graced a court in a decade now! He's not relevant to the game today, doesn't give anything back to the kids coming up... and thats why his shoes from 20 years ago are so popular. Kids want to get a piece of him, and the shoes are all they can have to feel a part of that time. When he was good. PE's by Jordan Brand are all ugly, with great technology. The fly-wades, cp3/cp4, Melo's, all ugly... Kobe's/LeBrons are relevant... funnily enough they are not made by JB but Nike. So JB should just give up on the new stuff, that they cant seem to NOT make ugly... and just bring out the 14th re-issue of their original retros. Or send the players over to Nike... even Kevin Durants are getting good.

The Wade's are wack, they look like the Stephon Marbury Kmart shoes. The Melo's and Paul's are respectable at best, I would consider hooping in them (if they were on sale) but I would never buy a pair just to wear.
