Nike SB Dunk Mid ‘Supreme’ Customs

Sneakerhead culture is wrought with simulacra and symbolic appropriation, this latest Nike SB custom something like the inverse of the most recent one we’d seen. Whereas jwiz had taken the forgotten ‘SF Muni’ thin-tongued Dunk Low SB and made it into something closer to the ‘Un-Supreme’ Nike SB Dunk Mid that just released, cemeterydrive has gone the other direction and made the Stealth, black and Dragon Red design less ‘Un-’ and more Supreme-ish thanks to a run of Elephant Print markings on the tumbled leather overlay. Regular Sneaker News readers will remember this guy as the same who Elephent’d the ‘Chromeball Incident’ Lows last summer; which pair turned out better?
