You all need to stop complaining jordan brand is never going to make another classic sneaker. The classics are what they are because of michael jordan and there wil never be another mj i am a fan of the 8.0 playoffs and aquas because i can see the 8 in them their not as nice but still. If your looking for jordan to produce new shit that is as good as the originals its not gonna happen every jordan that wasnt mikes are either mash ups of originals or complete shit.
im not going to lie, for 150, i cant see my pockets wanting to come up off that money. Im going to be 100% honest... compared to the shoes we fell inlove with growing up, these are for the sneaker collectors in this generation to have something to work hard for. LETS KEEP CONTINUE ROCKING OUR ORIGINALS AND LAUGH AS THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK HAVE TO SETTLE FOR "SECOND BEST"
jus a disgrace to da original 8s... i will say, da aquas dat are droppin in January are koo, but dats da only 8 2.0's dat are sumwat coppable.. da rest are jus cheap lookin & need to b put on da back burner.. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY in da back burner
regardless to how much everyone cries for the retros for these shoes they are simply just not coming. JB is interested in looking towards the future by redesigning classics with today's technology. At some point all "retro" Js will be replaced by a new and "improved version of its predecessor. The shoes that his "AirNess" wore were before their time and are now outdated compared to today's performance standards. Until today's JB athelets get better designs on their signature shoes instead of the mediocre excuses for a shoes that they are presented with these whatever ".0s" are what you are gonna get.........stop stop crying and buy the shoes or watch them sit on the shevlves and collect dust! ITS THAT SIMPLE!!!!!
its not as simple as you think. people still want the retros because as we were growing up our parents wouldnt buy them for us and now that we have jobs and money, we want the shoes we fell inlove with growing up. i still have yet to cop a pair of V's, VIII's, or XI's... but if they are going to replace the shoes i grew up wanting and the resale value goes thru the roof, im going to be like everyone else.... PISSED!!!!!
I like the shoes and how they infused them with new technology. The colorways are good and offer a variety of choices.
If these drop below $100 I'll copp. It'll be nice being able to play ball in some performance 8's I wont mind f'n up. Not a chance in hell I would play ball in real 8's. They can keep them if they really want to charge retro prices as if there retro 8's though.
these looks like a good pair of basketball shoes, but that's just it a good pair or basketball shoes. It still doesn't warrant a $150 price tag..
i already know after these drop and i wear my 8 retros people are gonna say "hey i have those" and the next time i see them they will have these on!!!
kome on guys letts jus see them in person ... if they look kool then kop if u dnt like them pass.. its that easy .. its not like they gon fly off the shelves anyways
I totally agree... The straps are what kill it for me. Plastic looks cheap and it looks like it wont keep standing if you un-strap them for wearing casual.
I really don't get these at all. As mentioned above, remove the straps call them something new and they'd be alright but these are an abomination.
Easy pass for me, however I bet the "playoff" go quick even though they are being hated on so much. If you all don't like what JB is putting out there do not buy it.
if they are cheap enough I might even buy a pair and get a little creative with the x-acto knife and take those straps off.
Listen, I really don't care about the general reaction, but ever since the stock image of the Aqua 8.0s were shown I loved these. The idea of rejuvenating classics that we all love, but still keeping it iconic is awesome.
Well thanks jb for ruining my favorite jordan of all time its always good or bad with them theres never an in between well whatever not like they give a fuck with what i got to say they're just trying to fool other people into wasting their money
