Earlier today, we got our first look at a new chukka from Jordan Brand that draws upon an Air Jordan Legacy model we’ve confirmed for a couple substantial retro releases in 2012. It seems fitting to see more AJXII-inspired fare in ’12, so here’s a first look at the Air Jordan XII Runner. A far cry from the battle-tested if bulky Twelves, this sleek new lowtop keeps the signature sweeping mudguards and appears to have sublimated sunrays to mimick the AJ12’s signature stitching pattern; even the place where its carbon fiber spring plate would rest has been copied.
