As history has proven out, this is not the best design for a skateboard, but one of the sport’s premiere historians has also proven it can be the inspiration for a dope Quickstrike release from Nike SB. The Made for Skate x Nike SB Dunk Low ‘Roller Derby’ is inspired by the primitive decks that started the skateboarding revolution, their retro style drawing praise from a variety of sneakerheads who haven’t seen many other references to what seems like a simpler time. I'm passing on these but i'm going to give Nike a lot of props this time around. These shoes look like they came from the black or gold box era. Materials and design is great for this SB and i really hope Nike starts making more SB's like this come 2012.
