You may have noticed it as early as late September when we confirmed that Dwyane Wade’s favorite Air Jordan is in fact the III, but Tuesday’s unveiling of the Jordan Fly Wade 2 confirmed that the Miami Heat guard has been given a new logo. It seems that we might have seen the last of the ‘Agent D-3’ marketing push, but that’s not the only reason why the crosshaired ‘3’ is gone from Wade’s new signature. It was also on Tuesday that Nike Inc. settled a dispute with basketball apparel brand Point 3 over the logo styling, but if Jordan Brand has to switch D-Wade logos just for this passing resemblance, what about all those companies who rip off adidas by adding a fourth stripe? Intellectual property is increasingly important in our service-oriented economy, but do you see these logos as similar enough for litigation? Click through to voice your opinion and let us know what you think of the new Dwyane Wade logo.
