Combining a classic sneaker design with new age technology is a formula that certainly looks good on paper. It started with the Air Jordan Alpha 1, which featured a retooled silhouette of the Air Jordan 1, followed by the Air Jordan 2.0, replacing the embedded Air with the full-length visible variety. In comes the Air Jordan 8.0, a new vision of the original Air Jordan VIII envisioned with minimal seams and Flywire technology. The Air Jordan VIII is noted for its lock-down straps at the midfoot and the hectic mudguard design, and the upcoming 8.0 version slightly alters those benchmarks with thinner, Flywire-stabilized straps and a new paint-splatter detail, finishing off the ‘point-oh’ transformation with ease. Man I am an original kind of guy ...but I saw these today at Flightclub NY and they are beautiful looking shoes..I'm telling you guys if in the begining Jordan woud have given us a choice between the two most would have chosen the new one..I know i know blasphemy..but man they look good in person..and if you really thing about it the 8's were a little thick it is like they cut all the extra fat off down too a sleek 8..okay hit me with the negative button...hahaha..I think I'm entitled to my opinion
Its funny. I don't too much like these, but I wonder....if this is what tinker had given us back in 93, would we be just as crazy for these as the real 8s?? Just sayin'
the only thing i like about them is that they have the patch from the playoff 8 unreleased sample on the tounge
these would have been nice had they sticked to the og logo on the tounge and the strap..the straps made them look cheap
i understand everyone's love for the original 8, however it's nice to see more teched out pairs of j's. some of us actually ball
colored straps not my thing ie the red n blue but these Goargetown joints are hot n the playoff ones COME ON DOPE
these look like shoes of the video game gears of war 3 thats how ugly they are. and shame on all of you so called "sneaker heads or fans" you guys suck, michael jordan sucks, we all know that allen iverson was the best pg ever, jason richardson is the best sg ever, lebron is the GREATEST PLAYER WHO EVER LIVED at sf, and ben wallace is the greatest center EVER!!!!!

Only 8.0 Im concidering buying is the Aqua's next years. And that is ONLY because I have never had a pair of real Aqua's and I know JB is not going to realease anytime soon... SMH
