Tokyo-based sneaker specialists atmos are known for regularly authoring sneaker collaborations, but Sneaker News tends to preview these along with release information because they tend to be Japanese exclusives. But just as the Air Jordan VII FTLOTG samples we saw earlier today remind the sneakerhead world of the store’s August 2010 grand opening, here’s word of an atmos collabo that you can get at their New York flagship location. The atmos x Asics Gel Lyte III keeps the simple suede uppers that’ve been so popular on Ronnie Fieg’s designs but achieves a much different result thanks to the strong contrast between black and the gold accents, along with a speckled midsole that offers an almost trail-like twist. Click through to see more angles and look for these at UBIQ in Philly as well as atmos NYC in Harlem.
