Last year’s Miami inspired colorways for the Nike LeBron 8 like the ‘South Beach’ and ‘Miami Nights’ were the clear kings of the hill for must haves, so will King James’ latest signature shoe have a similar fate? With the Nike LeBron 9 finally starting to pop up on a slew of exciting colorways, this pair fuses the standard Miami Heat colors with a bit more sinister inspiration; the iconic imagery of the classic gangster film Scarface. The stark combo of black and white mixes in swaths of red that make the inspiration clear. this colorway does some justice for the shoe. i still hate his shoes still need a new designer !!!!!
I thought retail was $165? Are all these now $170? The china edition is understandable because it's probably limited. These seem GR and it's $170? Damn inflation! These do look nice though. Eager to play in these, but NOT $170 plus tax eager enough.
Does anyone know how the scarface name began? Popular name with no credit to the creator. Started on NT, forgot dudes name but props should be giving even if you don't like the sneakers.

the nickname is tied into the colorway and design scheme of the shoe. the tougnue closely resembles the movie's classic trademark picture image. Nike isn't gonna accept credit for any nicknames to avoid any legal actions taken against them, but the miami/scarface/lebron connection is no coincidence.o
These are clean, since Petrie says nike doesnt make up the nicknames for shoes it's all the internet ,so can we please stop with the silly nicknames.

Oh no!...the Nike DUMBO EDITION is cummin' your way! Deym those ankle supports paying homage to Disney's Dumbo's ears. LOL! Easy pass...can't wait for the LBJ 10.
I won't be hyped into buying this shoe. It may be great on the court, but so are a lot of other shoes out there that aren't half as loud. And way too much branding. It's a Lebron shoe, we get it.
People hate on the Scarface colorway, but I think it makes the shoe look kinda clean. Even though I'm not really feeling the overall design of the shoe itself.
