Kobe Bryant has remained relatively quiet this offseason, choosing to participate in overseas affairs rather than joining in on the summer league action with fellow NBA stars Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Carmelo Anthony. Here’s a look at a sample of the Nike Zoom Kobe VII in the White/Varsity Purple colorway; the white upper features contrasting black Flywire cables with a varsity purple midsole. A revised heel-cap as well as a rib-textured upper shell replaces the faux-snakeskin TPU skin, but clearly the keynote detail of the Kobe VII is the removable ankle lock-down bootie. Your darn right. It's actually called the LAMBORGHINI REVENTON EDITION. A collaboration between Kobe and his roots in Sant'Agata-Bolognese di Italia. Perhaps Kobe 8 is a FERRARI or DUCATI Edition. On thing for sure though, this is the worst design of Kobe line.

Like some people had mentioned, at least the inner bootie is removable. But as for the shoe itself, it looks like they were trying to make some Jordan 7 lowtops with a big fat swoosh on it.
well i didnt expect much b/c having a lowtop is already limited but also from the last kobe, i believe nike reached its technology peak with tht sig and the kobes can only get worst

The ankle strap will cover the NBA logo. Which is good. But from the looks give me the feel of the China spin off editions Dream Season and whatever the other one is called. These don't scream "signature shoes." These lightweight shoes are pretty much looking like thick heel counter with some "leather" then 3/4 of sneaker is cover with thin synthetic material. I was looking back at some old sneakers I own and its incredible how much has changed.
