Did Paul Pierce even know that he would dominate the age 6-13 demographic? According to teammate Kevin Garnett, ‘Anything is possible’. The Nike Air Legacy series, Paul Pierce’s signature shoe, has been exclusive to kids sizes for as long as we can remember. Why such an exclusivity exists is confusing, but it’s clear that Pierce, while one of the best small forwards of our generations, doesn’t have that range of marketability that Nike’s current Big Three have. So, technically, Pierce is one of four Nike Basketball athletes with his own signature shoe line – just ask your kid brother about ’em. The all-new Air Legacy 3 in the ‘Away’ Celtics colorway just hit stores, so grab them at overseas retailer Afew, or on our side at Nikestore.

Feeling these because they look old-school Nike basketball sneakers. Not feeling today's Nike ball sneakers, but like these PP's.

it's clear that Pierce, while one of the best small forwards of our generations, doesn't have that range of marketability that Nike's current Big Three have. Paul, Dirk and Durant all have signature Nike shoes. It's just that guys like Paul, Dirk, and Durant don't seek marketability from Nike. Nike's main focus is Lebron, Kobe and Tiger everybody knows that.

Kevin Durant was on the Nike Mag 2011 campaign. He has his own signature shoe. He was one of the primary faces of Nike Basketball before he got a signature. How is he not a focus?
