LeBron James, who in one way another cut his ties to his hometown of Akron, is still giving props to another home-state school – The Ohio State University. Now that LeBron is situated in Miami, we can expect a new line of White/Green/Orange colorways tied to ‘The U’, or the University of Miami, like this upcoming Nike LeBron 9. Just yesterday we showed you a PE version of this soon-to-release sneaker, which featured a two-toned ‘U’ logo on the tongue. The GR version won’t feature that specific college badge on the tongue, but the colorway itself is pretty much a walking reminder that LeBron’s allegiance is now with the Southern Floridian city.
