Batman rocked Jordans? Back in 1992, Nike created a special pair of Air Jordan VI footwear for the Dark Knight as the unique design seemed to match Batman’s suit. Of course, the Air Jordan VI ‘Batman’ never released, though it is one of the coolest artifacts in Nike’s history. PH23Customs recently completed a custom pair of Air Jordan VIs with the Dark Knight in mind; using the Oreo VI as the base, PH23 blacked out the white leather upper and astutely colored a few sections with a dark navy blue, like the Jumpman on the tongue, the midsole, and the stripe on the ‘spoiler’ on the heel.
