Nike has given increased attention to indoor soccer shoes over the past year or so, starting with the Lunar Gato that offered its take on Cristiano Ronaldo’s completely Safari’d Mercurial Vapor Superfly II. From the Lunar Gato emerged the Street Gato, a decidedly more aggressive pyrimidal traction surface on the medial toe and instep among the more unique design elements we’ve seen on any shoe in 2011. The name of this shoe is still the Nike5 Street Gato, but now there’s a CR7 attached to the end as we come full circle for a Ronaldo-inspired edition in Light Bone leather that references his Real Madrid jersey number.
