Air Jordan 8.0 – Varsity Red + Varsity Royal | Release Reminder

Earlier this month, Jordan Brand finally released the Air Jordan 8.0 – an entirely re-tooled version of the Air Jordan VIII. Boasting a lighter package, Flywire cables, and a seam-less and breathable upper, the Air Jordan 8.0 featured the necessary upgrades to perfectly envision the contemporary Air Jordan VIII. Releasing tomorrow are two more team-based colorways of White/Varsity Red and White/Varsity Royal; a third ‘University Blue’ version was also set for a release on the 22nd, but were actually released alongside the ‘Playoffs’ and ‘Georgetown’ colorways on October 8th. Be sure to check out your local Jordan Brand accounts for these two new releases, but if you want to make it easier, cop a pair now for under retail from shoejocky on eBay.

You people really don't get it do you. You have to remember that these are still basketball shoes, and that most of the redesigns, such as the addition of flywire, are for athletic purposes. Honestly I think they're not as bad as you all make them out to be, and that most of you are just looking for something to be pissed off at JB for.
I'd only buy these if they were $20 (just to ball in).
I like the concept but poor execution. I feel like the point of this whole revamp thing is to attack the problems and complaints people had with the shoes in the past. And it seems they didn't think this one out because the main thing everyone complains about with ballin' in the 8s is poor ventaltion so I'd think it would be a no-brainer to incorporate fuse technology. And then make the shoe resemble the actual retro more closely, similar to the 2.0s. I think if that would have happened more people would be on these. But then again most people that post about Jordans just buy them and put them away forever while I actually play ball in mine.
They cheated themselves out of an even more beastly year by not releasing the retro 8s. These are just some watered down ass joints.
Thank God the holidays are coming. Because JB has been releasing some trash lately. The last real heat JB released was the true blue 3s way back in june
