adidas Y-3 Sneak – Spring/Summer 2012
October 23rd, 2011 by Brendan Dunne | 13 comments

Say what you want about the adidas Y-3 line, but you can’t argue that they aren’t pushing the conventions when it comes to sneaker construction. Never afraid to think outside of the box, or anywhere even remotely close to the box, Yohji Yamamoto has been cranking out hits for over a decade now. We’ve got a preview here of whats in store for 2012, showing off an interesting pair that takes the adidas Superstar silhouette and wraps it up in thick elastic cords, held in place by sturdy metal d-rings. Get the full look at the upcoming Spring/Summer 2012 collection from adidas Y-3 after the jump and let us know if you approve. via HS

absolutely brilliant!
it looks like nike air flight 89 and adidas superstar had a child.
These are sick except for the Y3 on back. Finally something fresh and out of the box, no pun intended.
Would have been better without the Shelltoe
not bad
Theyve got a touch or retro 6 and retro 12 but they look nice
a back loop doesnt make it a jordan hue, i dnt see the 12 connection and you used the word retro...... gtfo
It's a touch of superstar model u idiot....
looks like a shoe a homless man made.
COME ON FAM...STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FINALLY!! something new even if it is ugly
What the fuck is that?!
That actually looks rather nice
