Carmelo Anthony Ranks His Signature Shoes
October 24th, 2011 by John K. | 9 comments

Believe it or not, Carmelo Anthony has eight (yes, eight) signature sneakers to call his own. Trailing only LeBron James and Kobe Bryant (if you count his adidas years) in that department, Carmelo was a shining star the moment he stepped onto the NBA Court, boasting a Championship pedigree from his 2003 victory with Syracuse. Jordan Brand has gotten extremely creative for the release of the Jordan Melo M8, unveiling the Flight Lab 159 – a pop-up installment in lower Manhattan, as well as hosting the NYC Flight Event, with NYC-native hip-hop star Nas (did you see those projections of Melo in the water? Sick!). Carmelo recently hooked up with Complex magazine and ranked his own signature line; what came in first? The Jordan Melo 5.5, which touched on Carmelo’s roots in Baltimore. Check out some of his signature sneaker history below, but head to Complex for the full rankings.

This is the first time I see people agree with me about the 1.5 being a favorite.
I never jumped for joy when it came to Melo's signature line, but the M3's were decent in my opinion. And who would possibly think about rocking the M7's to the club? With that logic he would think about rocking the M6's to weddings and black tie events.
1.5'S WERE MY HOOP SHOES...
Did anybody go to the clubs wearing the M7??? And what did he mean by red foamposite and blue foamposite on those? Oh, and the verb of the day is "toy."
There were two Melo M7s in a Varsity Royal and Varsity Red colorway that had a matte finish, gaving them a Foamposite-like appearance. I don't know about wearing them into the club, but the M7s were very comfortable and deceptively light.
those 1.5 hands down are da best melo kicks to ever drop
melo 1.5 was my favorite and the 5.5
Same here.My V.5's are still alive and kicking
how about with MJ's 23? you would prob rank your shoes to bottom no doubt.
