Every time these All-Star exhibitions go down, the reality of the NBA lock-out stings just a bit more. The latest NBA un-season game went down in Oklahoma City, where sneaker fans got another feast of basketball kicks both new and old, like KD’s Zoom KD IV ‘Nerf’, the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Ohio State’ (worn by LeBron, of course), Carmelo’s Blackout Melo M8 (rather explosive, isn’t it?), Chris Paul’s CP3.V, and a surprising sightning in the Nike Zoom LeBron IV, worn by the former adidas athlete Michael Beasley (dropped 56 points). Other notables included Russell Westbrook’s Zoom Hyperfuse 2011, James Harden’s Hyperfuse Low, and Jonny Flynn’s Zoom Hyperdunk 2011. During half-time of this game, Kevin Durant presented a charitable donation of $100,000 to the Single Parents Support Network of Oklahoma City, further demonstrating the stars’ mission of giving back to the community.
