Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Nerf’

Not all of us are 6’10″ and can hit the three with ease, so for many sneakerheads, the closest we’ve been to jaw-dropping acts of athleticism on the basketball court is with a pesky metal bracket securing a corrugated backboard and a rim that practically snaps itself. The Nike Zoom KD IV is a nice triangulation of these influences for KD collectors, an insanely-colored splatter-printed colorway that comes in a special package complete with foam Nerf basketball and hoop. You probably don’t need the Zoom KD IV’s Adaptive Fit system and Hyperfuse construction to nail a few dunks on the door-hung Hasbro hoop, but that does nothing to discredit this as one of the year’s more interesting Nike Basketball special packaging add-ins. Kevin Durant already has his and was spotted wearing them in OKC Sunday night, so check them out with additional images awaiting your click on the jump below, and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for the Zoom KD IV ‘Nerf’ release date, currently slated for November.

lls i think there may be a few of those vortex footballs laying around the garage my parents house
lol dope packaging. Not really feeling the shoes but I love the concept. Too bad we won't be seeing these on the court anytime soon. C'mon NBA!!!
these remind me of the inside of a laser tag room, put a black light on them and prove me wrong
I like these! I was lucky enough to go to the game and these looked great on the court. Melo's M8 looked good too it wall all black with a royal purple icy sole. Beasly wore some zoom lebron IV's and had 54 points.
Can't wait to see all the hype beasts tucking their jeans in behind the tongues rather than wear 'em on the court. Sigh... When did we devolve into "who can make the most outlandish colorways" to make shoes popular? LeBron South Beaches, these...
And the unintelligent, simple minded 11 year olds have shown themselves. Camp for these, kiddies. Then wear them in front of all the girls at your local mall to impress them- you know you will, along with your matching hat you got from Lids with the sticker still in tact.
