Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ – 45 Laser Custom

Air Jordan Xi Space Jam 45 Laser All Star 09

The Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ with the ’45’ on the heel is one of the rarest Air Jordan samples out there. While this pair of custom Space Jams aren’t exactly a direct Jordan Brand product, it still captures that rare-sample mystique. Here’s a look at a pair of 2009 Retro Space Jams with MJ’s ’45’ jersey number lasered on the upper ankle of the medial side of the shoes; the laser customs were done at the Jordan Brand Experience during the 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend, when Jordan fans were given the rare opportunity to add Jordan-centric laser-graphics on their items. The owner of these Space Jams got a bit creative and decided to add the ’45’ on this deadstock pair – an idea unlikely duplicated by anyone else! Check out a closer shot of the ’45’ laser as well as general shots of these Air Jordan beauties below, and if you like the concept behind the ’45’, check out the auction from noname2828 on eBay.
