Let’s focus on the base grade of the Kobe VII; featuring the removable insole/ankle sleeve, the Kobe VII features ‘Play Fast’ cushioning and support system, which utilizes a lock-down sleeve at the midfoot for a low-cut design. interesting for a performance sneaker..but not for the show off in the streets...
At least the forefoot zoom air isn't that little spot on the pivot foot. It's a nice size pad for the entire forefoot.

Those horizontal lines are gonna make your feet look dumb long. I think that I'm gonna buy them, take out the insoles and rock those like sandals...
I actually like these A LOT compared to most other Nike Basketball shoes. I won't get them though because I'm saving as much as I can for next year's J's and OG Trainers.

People hating on the supremes because of sleeve thing and price all being said i get that but i like supremes more because of high removeable ankle sleeve but they look realy similar to 6 but im really feeling em

I love the fact they finally added forefoot air zoom bag that reaches from the medial to lateral side on each foot. I always thought the V's and VI's small forefoot air bag located on the medial side only was not enough cushioning..This shoe maybe the ultimate performance low top of all time!! Copped!
Let the first factor in your decision be what am I going to use these for lifestyle or balling, then decide whether you'll cop any version of the Kobe VII's or not.
I really don't care what every one says, I like the direction the Kobe line has gone with the VII. I really want to see all 3 versions side by side and compared by performance and functionality. I understand the design of a shoe means much to some people but if you're balling in these shoes how many times are you going to look down at your feet and say "Damn, look how nice or ugly these shoes are.
Yeah I feel you, but when you're paying over $100 for some shoes, it would be nice to also have a tasteful design. You're right, when you are an athlete the comfort is the main priority. But when you look good, that makes you feel good as well. And that's coming form a former basketball player.
But just so you know, I do like the shoes. Just not with the strap haha.
If they're comfortable, light, and have good grip/ feel on the court, that's all that matters. Since when was playing basketball a fashion show? These are basketball shoes. You PLAY BASKETBALL in them.
but how they look is how they sell the shoe to the majority of the public...the brands want the most interesting looking shoe on the court, that's how they get kids to go out and make their parents buy them
