Among the most heavily debated uses of an oxidized, pre-yellowed sole to convey a vintage look very well might have been with the release of last year’s Air Jordan 1 AJKO retros. The original colorways returned with just a little something extra, and enough sneakerheads were interested in seeing them in their pristine ‘natural’ state that many traded secrets on how best to remove the antique look. No such effort will be necessary on the latest round of AJKOs and might even be a detriment to the blackout pair. The grey and brown joints stick with the classic white midsole but tonal uppers helps the whole pack feel fresh, and you can see photos of all of them after the jump. Will the AJKO thrive in this new role as a lifestyle look, or will you vote with your dollars for another from Jordan Brand’s ever expanding catalog during this heavily populated holiday season? via IST
