LeBron James’ Nike Basketball signature series never lacks for a special Christmas Day colorway, but last year marked the first time in the King’s eight year career that the holiday edition was released on anything other than his primary regular season model. But whereas the LeBron 8 and V/2 split duties roughly between best possible looks and ultimate performance, the Nike LeBron 9 wraps all these qualities up into a single tech-packed design whose ‘Christmas Day’ colorway is perhaps even bolder than last year’s all-red V/2s. Pictured next to the ‘Metallic Red’ Air Foamposite One we showed Gentry Humphrey holding earlier this morning, they seem even more radiant, and are practically begging the NBA to get their act together in time to salvage the league’s annual TV showcase. I think its nothin special bout the LBJ 9's but suckers are gonna pay 170 for them. Forgive the poor fools which now not wut they do.
let the hype begin. i bet these go for 4 to 600 on ebay... and you could customize them on nike ID for 200 lol
dope shoe but i hope we actually get xmas games..thanks lord stern...aka dark helmet..sorry that is who he reminds me of! can we please see the kobe xmas...and it better be the rattlesnake model!
the bottoms on these have snowflakes in them which makes these better then the V8. Nice kicks has the detailed images.
I like to the Lebron 8 V/2 Christmas' better because it actually had the black midsole with white speckles, which reminds me of Christmas because of the snow. These Lebron 9s are definitely nice, but I think that the Lebron 8 Christmas' were definitely a better looking Sneaker for the holiday. Love the green laces tho. We'll see, I could think differently once u see them in person.... sALuTe
HAHA dark helmet nobody on here is gonna get that spaceballs reference but kobe is gay nhis kicks suck
No one can see the bottom. I don't like when they decide to throw better details on the outsold than they do on the visible parts of the sneaker when worn, like on the uppers, midsole s, toe boxes, heel panels, tongue's, anywhere besides the bottom of the sneaker, which is the part that no one can actually see. Therefore like I said, the black midsoles with white speckles to represent snow on the 8s do look a lot better to me because there is more details and contrast to the sneaker. And the 360 air max unit looks a lot better to me than the 180 air max unit on the heels of the 9s. Now maybe if they added that glitter like material to represent snowflakes on the uppers somewhere, like just on the red that goes around the toe boxes and then continues up around the lace holes/eyelets, and goes around the heel panels, then that would maybe draw more attention and make help them to look more like a Christmas sneaker. Not that it already doesn't. But I just think that the black midsoles with white speckles looks better than some glitter in a clear outsole that you can't barely see. The clear outsoles are def dope for sure, but I still think the Bron 8 is a better Xmas sneaker, and looks better to me. I still think these are gonna look good. But you can't deny that the 8s were one of the top ten best Brons to drop......I'll have to see in person before I really confirm this, but I do think that 8s look better than the 9s so far.... sALuTe
