For LeBron James, Christmas 2011 is probably going to look a lot different than it was last year. In 2010, LeBron, while wearing the LeBron 8 V/2 ‘Christmas’, just laid the smackdown on Kobe Bryant and the then defending champions. This Christmas, there might not even be any games! At least we’ll have a new pair of kicks to celebrate the holiday with; here’s a new detailed look at the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Christmas’; it features a tonal red upper with a festive green laces and a translucent outsole for that winter-ice appeal. A similar rendition can actually be built right now on Nike iD, but if you’ve got the patience and prefer the real thing, you’ll have to wait until the Christmas Day weekend. In the meantime, take a look at this detailed gallery and let us know which ‘Christmas’ version (LeBron 8 or 9) you like better. via kicks-lab.

The last Christmas edition was better on the previous model . Green swoosh would make these more acceptable . Nice concept , but not going to cop .
I like em, but they need to change that swoosh fo'real. I might copp though if China's aint droppin in the U.S.
If the toebox and outlines were green they wouk be much better looking in my opinion. Just the pull tab/spoiler?? but they look wonderful anyway
i agree, the christmas 8's had way more character.. nothing against these, but something is lacking that makes them look somewhat plain..
