Nike Air Max 90 Ocean Fog White Black

Who said a Nike Air Max 90 colorway has to be bright to be dope? Sure, fan favorites like the Infrareds and Laser Blues will always be classics, but don’t underestimate the strength of a more muted look on this beloved runner. In that category the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Ocean Fog’ is the best we’ve seen in a minute, with the deep mixture of blues coming correct on the mesh and suede sections. After that a bit of white shows up to keep this one from being too gloomy. Get a full look at this pair after the jump and order them now from Premier.

adidas adiZero Rose 2 Triple Black

Derrick Rose’s
signature releases have always bared a distinct resemblance colorway wise to those of a certain other MVP from the Wind City. Sneakerheads shouldn’t cry foul though, as a Bull’s representative you can’t expect adidas’ rising star to not rock the classic black/red/white combo on the regular. Showing off the adidas adiRose 2′s ability to switch it up here is the ‘Triple Black’ edition, looking pretty much how you would expect with a name like that. This lights out colorway looks particularly mean on the sleek new silhouette of Derrick Rose’s latest lighweight model. Get the full view after the jump and be on the lookout for them on November 10th from adidas.

Air Jordan VI Carmine Sculpture

Check out this sample of the Carmine VI made for Shaquille O’neal. But seriously, remember that Air Jordan VI sculpture we showed you at the end of August? Here’s a look at the completed project, painted perfectly to resemble the ‘Carmine’. This sculpture was done by an artist who goes by the name Mr Loverman El Hedonista (by far one of the coolest artist handles we’ve ever come across), who decided to show off his sick artwork by displaying it next to an actual pair of the Air Jordan VI ‘Carmine’, on the roof of a red car, and a woman who we presume to be the future Mrs. Loverman El Hedonista. Check out the gallery of images below and let us know what you think!

Nike LeBron 9 iD Available

It’s impossible to figure out the number of Nike iD custom creations since iD was first introduced in 2006. It wasn’t until 2009 when the first Nike Basketball signature shoe became available for customization (the Nike Zoom Kobe IV – remember the commercial with Mike Epps and DJ AM?). Following the Zoom Kobe IV was the V and VI installments, and even earlier this year, Kevin Durant’s signature KD III became available. In what might be considered six years in the making, the Nike LeBron signature line has finally entered the Nike iD fray; the Nike LeBron 9, which just released world-wide in the Black/Red colorway, is now available for customization, rolled out with a limited-edition color-palette. So what can you do with these introductory colors? How about South Beach, SVSM, or even a ‘Defining Moments Package’ colorway. The first wave of LeBron 9 iDs are available right now so hopefully you have your iDeas in place because these will go fast!

Celebrity Feet: Dwyane Wade Air Jordan III Black/Cement

It’s clear that fashion sense for NBA players have gone from baggy and ‘hood’ (Exhibit: Allen Iverson) to fitted and dapper (Exhibit: Everyone else in the NBA), but clearly, wearing Air Jordans with thousand dollar suits is still an acceptable mode of dress. and beau Gabrielle Union attended the special event honoring model Iman and design house Missoni in Beverly Hills, CA; Wade matched his Black/Cement IIIs – a sneaker he noted as his favorite Air Jordans of all-time – with a sleek grey suit and a black button-up, proving that Jordans can go well with anything! Check out more of Wade and the IIIs below and let us know what you think.

atmos x adidas Originals ZX 8000 G SNK II

adidas Originals and Tokyo-based sneaker specialists have collaborated several times over the past couple years, each project utilizing some materials resulting in a ‘G-SNK’ designation.  It stands forglow-in-the-dark snake, which is critical to the design of this new atmos adidas Originals ZX 8000, their second take on the classic runner.  They use a similar material blocking pattern to the OG ‘Aqua’-styled pair that just released, though the GITD snake details here are even more important given the shoe’s relatively simple colorway.  This time around you can expect a November ship date from atmos; will you look to grab a pair when they inevitably end up on the secondary market?

New Balance 574 Fruit Pack | Available

When the New Balance 574 debuted in grey suede back in 1988, there were exactly four flavors of Starburst candy.  Fast forward a quarter-century and we get so many new sneakers in so many new themes and colorways that NB has already utilized the ‘Candy Pack’ name for a pack of 996s.  So despite the fact that each color combo on this new trio of NB574s could correspond to a different flavor of Mars fruit chews, they’re aimed squarely at one and none of them.  The New Balance ‘Fruit Pack’ feels more vital thanks to its name conjuring images of raw juice and sweet flesh instead of HFCS, each of the three pairs among the more vibrant footwear for fall.  Peep more images after the jump and look for these at select New Balance retailers including LA’s Millennium Shoes.

adidas Originals Metro Attitude Logo Gold Snakeskin

We’ll forgive you if you mistook the adidas Orginals Metro Attitude Logo for a Jeremy Scott release at first glance. This in house design from the adidas Originals team certainly bears a resemblance to Scott’s work-from the massive tongue to the gaudy combo of gold and faux snakeskin. If nothing else, the gigantic tongue is a surefire way to rep your love for the old-school Trefoil logo, especially with the branding done up in eye popping gold here. Get a full look at this upcoming colorway for the adidas Originals Metro Attitude Logo after the jump and grab your pair a bit ahead of schedule from Kicks Crew.

Nike Air Max 95 Obsidian White

Any sneakerhead worth his salt is by now familiar with the original Nike Air Max 95 and its signature white-grey-black gradient, but have you noticed some of the other more popular blocking patterns in recent months?  You still get plenty of reverse grey-dients and the occasional totally novel approach, but one pattern that’s become more popular is applying a tonal look with a single tier adding some kind of one-degree contrast.  It can be a darker suede hue on one tier as was the case with the ‘Shades of Brown’ edition, or a sharp change in gloss as is the case with this new Obsidian release.  They’re blocked just like the black/Iguana joints that, just like this pair, are exclusive to England’s JD Sports.  Click through to see more angles and let us know which is your favorite ‘style’ of AM95s.

Nike SB V Rod Liberty Blue Marine Yellow Ochre

Nike SB’s goal in creating the V-Rod was to combine the aesthetics of Paul Rodriguez’ signature line with the long running tradition of vulc-soled plimsolls in the skateboarding world.  Needless to say, the blend was a great success, and now the Nike SB Vulc Rod has become one of Swoosh Skateboarding’s standby models for 2011.  This latest edition is cast in a colorway Paul himself might have seen at the Rose Bowl a mere half-hour from his hometown of Tarzana, CA, where the Michigan Wolverines would have worn something similar at the end of their best seasons.  The best part about this Liberty Blue shade of navy, though, is that it’s sufficiently neutral so as to avoid a clear ‘homer’ look, so you’ll be able to pair these with a variety of clothing options when you pick them up from a Nike SB shop like Flatspot.

Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke by Bright

Ranking Nike Air Force 1 Bespokes design is kinda like doing the same with American Idol contestants: the experience is an invitation to express oneself so you inevitably get a few brilliant efforts along plenty of wackjobs you’d have trouble putting in order.  So while we can’t conclude that this new AF1 Bespoke by someone named Bright is indeed the ultimate in insanity, they do clearly belong in the outlandish pile thanks to a bright yellow lizard skin upper held together with Kaws-like ‘X’ stitching.  These even go a step further into what the great beast may have most recently eaten, hints of zebra peeking out from the Swoosh underlay and fuzzy sockliner.  A crazy design to be sure, where does Bright’s Air Force 1 Bespoke rank for you in terms of sheer audacity?  Check them out in more images after the jump and get with 21 Mercer to schedule your appointment today.

Nike SB Dunk High Tauntaun New Images

Arguably second only to the on-again/off-again saga that is the Entourage ‘Lights Out’ edition, the Nike SB Dunk pictured above has garnered quite a bit of attention since we previewed them in detail late last month.  The ’Tauntaun’ Dunk High SB was designed by Nike SB’s Shawn Bavaretto to resemble the t-rex-like Hoth beasts from Empire, but longtime Swoosh Skateboarding heads have remarked that they resemble Quasimoto’s Stones Throw 10th Anniversary F&F collaboration.  That seems even more accurate a comparison in light of the changes reflected by these latest images, a new colorblocking scheme leaving these feeling like the ice-coldest BTTYS design ever seen.  The texture of a denim or some similar material is apparent on the overlay with suede in a marbled finish below; is this new distribution better than the original images or do you wish they’d stuck with the samples?  Check them out in new images after the jump and expect these at select Nike SB retailers next month.  via N-SB
