Looking for a way to rock heat even when you take your sneakers off? Jordan Brand has got you covered, coming with a sock version of the highly-anticipated Air Jordan XI Retro ‘Concord’ that is set to drop in December. Following the trend set by the ‘Cool Grey’ socks we saw earlier this year, this pair sports the iconic look of the Air Jordan XI-coming with the upside that you never have to worry about the soles yellowing up. What would’ve made these socks even better is if the outsole print was Concord instead of black! Get an extra look at these Air Jordan XI socks after the jump and let us know in the comments if you’ll be copping a pair. If so, grab them right now at Nikestore online.

“We want you to rep your sneaker school.”
School has been in full swing for over two months, but Rep Your Sneaker Hood is challenging you to represent your school (college, high-school, elementary, even one in your neighborhood). Your task? Create a video showing off the best and brightest sneakers of your school. Who will win? The video with the most videos and the best story-telling ability, so the victor will be partially judged by the public. There are a few rules that apply to this contest (you need a SneakerTube.tv account, the video can’t be over two minutes). Check out the full video with Premium Pete, SneakGeekz, and Dallas Penn detailing all the info and let us know what school you rep!

Supra definitely crossed over this summer when they started releasing pretty much everything from their catalog in three-shoe color and theme-united packs of sneakers, but here’s visual evidence of the crown brand going pop. The Supra Pop Pack is named for its use of a vibrant pink accent shade on the soles of the Supra Skytop III and Stacks lowtop, plus the lining and details of the Vaider Mid. You get a different take on each pair thanks to the differing vamps and grey, navy and black uppers, respectively, and images of each pair are waiting after the jump. Is Supra enjoying their finest hour or should they seek a new release strategy? It’s an easier decision to make with more images to inspect, so let us know what you think and look for yours at select Supra stockists.

The theme of militarism continues to run through Nike Basketball, as we get a look at an upcoming release of the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme in the Cool Grey/Gorge Green-White colorway. The most distinctive features of the Supreme-designated Hyperdunk flagship is the webbed shell that is placed at the toe-box, reaching up to the midfoot of the shoe, and when combined with the two-toned grey digi-camo print, this upcoming release of the Hyperdunk captures that high-tech forte perfectly. We’ve seen other Nike Basketball releases utilized camouflage print, like the Lunar Hypergamer and the set of Nike Basketball PE’s that just dropped at House of Hoops, but this Supreme release might be the best one yet. More images below, so take a thorough look after the jump and expect these at Nike Basketball retailers on November 11th.

Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash is among a group of aging veterans including Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett and Nash’s former teammate Dirk Nowitzki who seem to be maintaining their elite status longer than previous generations’ elite stars. Nash continues to get his 15 and 11 each night thanks to superior preparation, a knock-up medical staff in the desert and perhaps superior footwear. Nash has never had his own name grace a Swooshed sneaker and last spring signed with the Chinese brand Loyou, but the Nike Cradle Rock Low 2011 is indeed a follow-up to one of his more popular recent looks. They have a very clean if classically-leaning aesthetic, one that’s bolstered by an iridescent ankle collar and the technical support of a Cushlon sole. Just like the rest of the MIA NBA’s next round of sig kicks, you can expect these at select Nike Basketball retailers shortly, and be sure to click through to see some additional images so you know what to expect. via SM

The Oregon Ducks PEs of the Air Jordan III has been one of the biggest news stories on Sneaker News during the second half of 2011, as each new development reveals a new layer of information on these amusing shoes. As you already know, the White ‘Home’ colorway of the Air Jordan III ‘Oregon Ducks’ doesn’t feature the Pit Crew logos on the upper, but instead uses a clean blank slate. This particular pair is autographed by Jaison Williams, former Wide Receiver for the Oregon Ducks; according to one lucky owner of this rare PE, Williams played a part in the design of the Air Jordan III ‘Oregon’. This autographed pair just so happens to be up for sale, so check out the new images below and check out the auction from digitaljordan44 on eBay.

Though plenty of sneakerheads have chosen a subtle expression, it’s hard to argue that a big part of the excitement behind the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience is creating something so eye-catching and imagination-grabbing that you can’t help but wonder how they came to be. The latest AF1 Bespoke comes to us courtesy of a tour stop at Nike Harajuku in Tokyo where a sneakerhead simply known as ‘R.S.’ did his best to mash together the Air Jordan III ‘Black Cement’, Air Jordan VII ‘Raptor’ and a bit of Air Jordan XI in the form of a patent leather underlay for good measure. It’s quite a bold finished product, but what would you do with an appointment at the 21 Mercer studios? Look at some more angles of these after the jump and leave a comment to let us know which have been your favorites from this round of options.

Believe it or not, Carmelo Anthony has eight (yes, eight) signature sneakers to call his own. Trailing only LeBron James and Kobe Bryant (if you count his adidas years) in that department, Carmelo was a shining star the moment he stepped onto the NBA Court, boasting a Championship pedigree from his 2003 victory with Syracuse. Jordan Brand has gotten extremely creative for the release of the Jordan Melo M8, unveiling the Flight Lab 159 – a pop-up installment in lower Manhattan, as well as hosting the NYC Flight Event, with NYC-native hip-hop star Nas (did you see those projections of Melo in the water? Sick!). Carmelo recently hooked up with Complex magazine and ranked his own signature line; what came in first? The Jordan Melo 5.5, which touched on Carmelo’s roots in Baltimore. Check out some of his signature sneaker history below, but head to Complex for the full rankings.

Every time these All-Star exhibitions go down, the reality of the NBA lock-out stings just a bit more. The latest NBA un-season game went down in Oklahoma City, where sneaker fans got another feast of basketball kicks both new and old, like KD’s Zoom KD IV ‘Nerf’, the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Ohio State’ (worn by LeBron, of course), Carmelo’s Blackout Melo M8 (rather explosive, isn’t it?), Chris Paul’s CP3.V, and a surprising sightning in the Nike Zoom LeBron IV, worn by the former adidas athlete Michael Beasley (dropped 56 points). Other notables included Russell Westbrook’s Zoom Hyperfuse 2011, James Harden’s Hyperfuse Low, and Jonny Flynn’s Zoom Hyperdunk 2011. During half-time of this game, Kevin Durant presented a charitable donation of $100,000 to the Single Parents Support Network of Oklahoma City, further demonstrating the stars’ mission of giving back to the community. Continue reading for a recap of the night’s best sneakers and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more Lockout Feet! via Yahoo!.
