Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke By R.K.

The eighth completed Bespoke project from the Bespoke pop-up at Nike Harajuku surfaces today, designed by R.K. of Japan. As we’ve witnessed from previous Nike Harajuku Bespoke creations, this latest edition utilizes funky materials and opts for the high-contrast theme, as R.K. combines a rich, smooth olive-green suede with a funky two-toned beige pattern on the toe-box and center panel. Add in glossy croc-skin on the tongue label and heel-tab and you’ve got another that is so very ‘Harajuku’. More angles of this Bespoke below, so take a look and let us know what you think.

Air Jordan 1 Max Orange True Blue Sample

Lately Sneaker News has been showing you some interesting Air Jordan gems from the collection of Phase2 who, based on his stash, might have the best collection of AJ samples on Earth. Here we have a look at a ‘True Blue’ variation of the Air Jordan 1 Max Orange that dropped in 2009; it features a the trademark True Blue color on the inner lining as well as on the laces for a funky clash of colors. Sneaker News also showed you an ‘Infrared’ sample of the Max Orange, and Phase2 quickly points out the ‘Infrared’ color of the Jumpman on the tongue label (the lighting may throw you off), which adds up to one of the rarest Air Jordan samples in recent memory – three different variations of one release in one shoe. We’ve got additional angles of this rare sample so take a look and let us know what you think!

adidas Consortium ‘Tabula Rasa’ Collection Detailed Images

adidas Consortium is wiping the slate clean and opting for a fresh start in late 2011.  Will the collection return to its namesake form and collaborate extensively with the hottest names from fashion and art, or will Three Stripes keep their in-house brain trust occupied with pumping out new creations?  If the latter proves to be true, we’re all in for a treat because the adidas Consortium ‘Tabula Rasa’ five-pack comes with no ‘x’es or extra names, but they are indeed among the season’s standout releases.  The adidas Originals Decade, Baltic, Matchplay and Pro Shell are immaculate in white suede with leather trim, both of which show off their apparent quality in a series of closeup images awaiting your click on the jump below.  Let us know which model you like best and stick with Sneaker News for the US release dates.

Nike Air Max 95 Shades of Brown

Sneakerheads the world over know the Nike Air Max 95 for its signature ‘grey-dient’ colorblocking scheme in which white eyelets make their way to a black sole via several tiers of tonal grey. But we also know that other colors can be applied tonally to the AM95′s ‘muscle fibers’, Stash’s collaborative design from 2006 being one prime example. So now as everything outside starts to get a little darker and all the vegetation feels the call of Chronos, it’s a great time to see this tonal brown Air Max 95 hitting select retailers. Nicknamed ‘Shades of Brown’, this new pair doesn’t have the same kind of obvious gradient as the aforementioned designs, but few would argue with the selection of brown suedes at play here, and you’ll be able to find these now at select NSW retailers like SoleFly.

Big Sean x adidas Originals Superstar Leopard

Between his duets with Chris Brown and Kanye West, Detroit MC has managed to garner some serious mainstream success in 2011.  His track ‘I Do It’ was also a key component of adidas mid-summer marketing push, commercials with NBA MVP Derrick Rose popping up everywhere you cared to look in May and June.  With all that notoriety, it’s about time Sean got up with Three Stripes for a collaborative release of his own, and it looks like it’ll be coming on the silhouette made famous by a trio of New York-based hip-hoppers about a quarter-century ago.  The adidas Originals Superstar is in step with today’s trends thanks to black accents on an otherwise leopard-printed lowtop silhouette; woudl you buy these if they make it to retail?  Check them out in more detail after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the Big Sean x adidas Originals teamup.  via SF

Nike SB November 2011 Footwear

The highlight of Nike Skateboarding’s November 2011 releases was supposed to be the highly-anticipated ‘Entourage’ SB Dunk Low, but Nike SB fans were down-trodden at yet another delay. That doesn’t mean the November 2011 releases aren’t strong, because there are still a ton of great SBs worth adding to the rotation. The U.S. Passport Dunk Lows look to be an official November release (although some spots have released them early), but check out the duo of Janoskis, more from the P-Rod line, and a new colorway of the Zoom FP. We’ve got a look at nine solid releases so check ‘em out below and stick with Sneaker News for more upcoming Nike SB release information.

Run DMC x adidas Originals Superstar 80s My adidas

If there was ever a time you desiered to walk through concert doors or roam all over coliseum floors, it very well might be now.  No, there’s not another Live Aid/8 benefit concert coming up to commemorate the fifth birthday of the last one, but instead an anniversary for one of the first explicit instances of overlap between hip-hop culture and major sneaker brands.  The Run-DMC x adidas Originals Superstar 80s ’My adidas’ 25th Anniversary edition commemorates five x five years since the song that gave a name to Three Stripes online customization service first hit radio airwaves.  These are unique for their use of custom embroidery on the rear as well as a dookie rope dubrae; are they the greatest shelltoe release of the last quarter-century?  Click through to see some more images and expect these in stores starting Friday, November 11th, a fittingly timed release for one of the rap game’s oldest veteran groups.  via HB

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Dark Knight | Available

In today’s ultra-concentrated news cycle, if you don’t hear about a model for more than a few weeks (days, even), it’s easy to be so bombarded by the ever-expanding array of new and upcoming releases that you might lose track of all but the very most significant releases. And especially when you compare the profile of its release to the Zoom Kobe V that preceeded it, one could certainly conclude by this point in history that sneakerheads are collectively sleeping on the Nike Zoom Kobe VI ‘Dark Knight’. Whereas the ZKV edition was an early House of Hoops-exclusive that helped to garner attention for that model in its early days, the Christopher Nolan’s Batman-inspired ZK6 comes nearly two years later during a time we couldn’t possibly see them on an NBA court. Add in that the Zoom Kobe VII is right around the corner, and we’ve got all the makings of a release people are going to be happy they remembered while others got left behind. Check these out in some additional images after the jump and pick them up before everyone else finds out they’re available right now on NikeStore.

Nike Air Pegasus 92 Upcoming Colorways

Earlier this morning, Sneaker News showed you how Nike Sportswear is bringing together over a decade and a half of Tailwind series runners for their new hybrid design, but here’s one that remains unchanged a full twenty years after its debut.  The latest round of Nike Air Pegasus ’92s has a slightly anachronistic vibe about it not because two of the four pairs bear the colors of classic Air Mowabb ACG releases from around the same time, but because back in the day, the Swoosh didn’t typically spread these colorways across different silhouettes like pretty much every brand does in modern times with ‘pack’ releases.  With that in mind, maybe this is just the ‘fire pack’, because each pair including the two tonal grey leather joints, all have that look that’ll have classic running fans making these hard to find.  Check out some more images after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the US release dates.  via SF

Nike Air Max Tailwind 96 12

Nike Sportswear’s retro approach of ‘Frankenstein-ing’ the new with the old has been one of the hot-button sneaker topics lately. Some have garnered a surprising amount of praise, like the Nike Huarache Free 2012 and the Nike Huarache Basketball 2012, but others, like the upcoming Air Max Tailwind 96-12, are still up for debate. Taking the classic silhouette of the 1996 Air Max Tailwind with the newly designed Tailwind Max Air unit, the Air Max Tailwind 96-12 will arrive in Summer 2012 and will certainly conjure up pleasant memories of the past, or remind us that a classic has been unnecessarily changed. Check out all three (plus two GS sizes) below and let us know what you think.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Obsidian White Neutral Grey

When Nike Sportswear releases packs of sneakers, they tend to replicate themes across different colorways of the same model or go for similar colorways on different silos. But owing to the inherent differences between the various models, it’s relatively uncommon to see them unified by colorblocking as well, but that’s just what we’re seeing with this new Nike Air Force 1 Low. Section for section, it’s colored and blocked identically to the Dunk Lows we showed you on Wednesday, right down to the full grain overlay atop a smooth white base. Now all that’s left to decide is whether you’re in the Dunk camp or if you rep Uptowns, so click through to see more to aide in your comparison and look for these at NSW dealers like Titolo.
