Nike Dunk Low Obsidian Neutral Grey White

With so many variations available and hightops currently en vogue, the good ol’ fashioned Nike Dunk Low is enjoying a bit of time away from the burning spotlight. Here’s a new drop that combines a versatile colorway with a classic blocking pattern to obtain a timeless look you can keep in your rotation into perpetuity. So long as you don’t go crazy with black pants, you really can’t go wrong with with white leather topped by Obsidian and Neutral Grey, and the full grain look on the latter two gives a nice textural contrast as well. Click on the jump below so you can see this Yankees-leaning Dunk Low up close and personal and look for them at Nike Sportswear sellers like Titolo.

Nike Huarache Free Run Summer 2012

The twenty-first birthday is always a significant one and Nike will celebrate the Huarache series’ ‘adulthood’ with a variety of new releases for 2012.  We’ve seen how the Zoom Huarache 2K4 will return alongside the new Air Huarache Basketball 2012, but it’s this one that’s closest to the originals that started it all.  The Nike Huarache Free Run looks great in a sextet of colorways ranging from an OG-style ‘Sprite’-like look to a couple of soft blue-accented editions more in step with today’s casual sneaker trends.  Check out all six after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for the Huarache Free 2012 Run release dates.  via CK

Nike Hyperfuse 2011 Rajon Rondo + Russell Westbrook Home PEs

Among the great crimes against basketball fans perpetrated during the NBA’s latest lockout is how we’ve been robbed of one of the best crop of young point guards the league has ever seen.  These past few years have been absolutely electric as we’ve seen young 1s like Chris Paul and Derrick Rose take the position to new heights in the wake of Steve Nash’s back-to-back MVP awards in the middle of last decade.  The list goes on with guards like Deron Williams and the two guys pictured above all relying on the Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 for their player exclusive sneaker needs.  Rajon Rondo and Russell Westbrook’s PEs are made to match ‘home’ looks for the Celtics and Thunder, respectively, the kind of thing that’d make Kendrick Perkins come to tears.  They could be tears of joy though, because these white-based Hyperfuse 2011s look quite crisp, especially Westbook’s ice-soled edition.  Click through for more images of both pairs and stick with Sneaker News for the latest NBA PE sneakers, 2011-12 season or no.  via Kenlu

Vans Era Tri Tone Pack

The fact that Vans has squeezed so much out of a silhouette so simple as the is a testament the strength of this no-frills sneaker. You’d think that there isn’t much more to do with this ubiquitous model, but Vans is here to prove us wrong again with the aptly titled Tri-Tone Pack. These three Eras each throw up a different color on the toe, mid section, and heel, with two of the three mixing in some contrast stitching for extra pop. Follow us after the jump for a better look at each and let us know if you’ll be copping these. If so, long time Vans supporter DQM in New York has them in stock as of now.

Supra Stealth Pack

We’ve just seen Supra offer ‘Neon’ Air Max 95, ‘Infrared’ Air Max 90 and ‘McFly’-leaning colorways, so what’s behind this latest trio of releases from the crown brand?  Well, Jordan Brand just released a ‘Stealth Pack’ of CMFT 11 hybrids and that trio was organized around each pair’s extensive use of a particular shade of grey first made famous on the Air Jordan XX pack.  One look at the green full grain leather Supra Society Mid and you’ll realize something different is at work here, and in Supra’s exact words, “the holiday 2011 Stealth Pack aren’t going to jam anybody’s radar, but the lustrous, premium, full grain leather uppers look like they should.”  So even if you don’t have a real tangible theme to fall back on, so long as the quality is on point, perhaps it doesn’t really matter.  Check out all three pairs after the jump and look for these at select Supra stockists today.

atmos x Puma Clyde Survival Pack

Weather across the country has been cooperative with those looking to extend summer a few extra weeks but with October over half over, you know the cold grey slop of winter is right arond the corner.  With that in mind, we can expect a variety of sneaker designs aimed at keeping you looking and feeling warm, and what better material to convey that cozy feeling than a pure wool?  The atmos x Puma Clyde‘Survival Pack’ brings together two of the German Cat’s iconic lowtops with a woolen and leather combo whose side panel striping suggests a macro plaid pattern.  Both red and black pairs are slated to release on Friday, October 21st; are they appealing enough to import or pay extra from a reseller?

Nike SB P Rod IV For The Love Of The Game Available on eBay

Nothing exemplifies Michael Jordan’s love of the game of basketball like the Nike SB P-Rod IV does. All sarcasm aside, the P-Rod IV was one of the select PE’s made for Michael Jordan when the ‘For The Love Of The Game’ collection was created for the huge Jordan Brand event that went on during the summer months of 2010. This P-Rod IV adopts the same FTLOTG concept, using a tonal university blue upper with a solid white outsole, with the special laser graphics on the toebox of the shoe. Another funky touch is the Jumpman logo on the heel and the FTLOTG graffiti typefont on the insoles. We have a nice detailed viewing of this rare pair below, so take a good look and check out the full auction from oregonsole on eBay.

Nike Dunk High Deconstruct

Not long ago Sneaker News gave you a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Deconstruct, which featured the classic AF1 silhouette with a re-done upper construction, shedding any material beyond the suede exoskeleton. Here’s a look at three colorways of the Deconstruct; the minimal lining route has been done with the before, with the ‘NL’ releases of ’05/’06, but these three fresh new vintage-inspired tonal colorways brings back one of the more memorable Dunk releases of the last decade. Check out all three Summer 2012 colorways after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike Sportswear previews. A big thanks to Fat_Board for the pics!

Freegums x Nike LeBron 9

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you a look at the upcoming Nike LeBron 9 ‘Scarface’, which revealed some interesting details on the inner lining as well as on the white upper shell. However, it’s been confirmed that these have no real influence from  the Scarface film, although anything White/Black/Red would be readily attributed to Tony Montana and the iconic movie due to LeBron’s current affiliation with the city of Miami. What’s true about this LeBron 9 colorway is that the graphic art was designed by Alvaro Ilizarbe, aka Freegums, a local artist in Miami; it features an intricate detailing on the inner lining as well as the toe-box that is seen in Alvaro’s trademark style – a mosaic of imagery inspired by deities and the supernatural. On this LeBron 9, you can clearly some festive LeBron-centric symbolism, like the crown behind the tongue and the basketball. Asics Gel Saga Spring/Summer 2012 Releases

When it’s all said and done, one of the most underrated and under-appreciated sneaker releases of 2011 will undoubtedly be the Asics Gel Saga in the OG Black/Purple/White colorway. Asics has been on the rise thanks to the mounting excitement and ‘hype’ surrounding those Ronnie Fieg x Asics collaborations, and with a increased presence in North American markets arriving soon, Asics will be a major player in the Retro-runner horizon – one that’s been the pacemaker for the Euro sneaker game for decades. Arriving during the Spring/Summer 2012 season will be two more OG Gel Saga colorways; the only caveat is that the White/Blue/Orange will be a leather make-up rather then the original suede. Check out the detailed angles of both colorways below and let us know what you think. via SM.

Nike Zoom Rookie LWP White Black New Photos

The all-white Air Foamposite One Penny Hardaway PE we showed you on Monday had sneakerheads clamoring for their release. Those pure Foams are the latest in a growing set of Nike Sportswear Penny exclusives that also includes Nike Zoom Rookie LWP and Air Force 1 Lows we’ve seen over the past few months. Given that those Zoom Rookies were cast in white with grey ‘pods’, you might conclude that this pristine white and black edition is the next best thing to Penny’s own whiteouts. They don’t glow in the dark like the Luminous Pearl edition but these will absolutely add some substantial shine to your collection, so be sure to check back with Sneaker News for the US release date. via Kicks-crew

Supra Max Pack

Supra has already paid homage to the OG Neon colorway of the Air Max 95 once before, being fairly explicit in their tribute with this Supra Skytop II. Well they’re at it again, this time with the not-so-subtly titled ‘Max Pack’, a trio featuring the , , and all done up in Neon-esque colors. While the gradient isn’t as pronounced on this set, the core of the recipe is still there: neon yellow paired with a smooth set of greys. Check out all three after the jump and be on the lookout for the Supra Max Pack at your local Supra spot.
