When we gave you a first look at the Nike ACG Air Max Conquer last month in the bright cranberry colorway, many of you gave the overall design a thumbs up but were hoping for a toned down colorway. Well ask and ye shall receive, as it doesn’t get much more basic than this tough mixture of black and smoky grey. This premium boot from Nike ACG is one of the sturdiest we’ve seen yet, with WaterShield construction to keep you dry and a high hitting silhouette for extra protection. Get a full look at this fall colorway after the jump and hit up End Clothing to get your pair now.

After suiting up this OG trainer with some modern upgrades for a Crazy Light release earlier this year, adidas apparently wants to treat us to the old school version as well. The two colorways shown here feature a very distinguishing set of materials that set them apart from each other. There’s the ice grey/bluebird version, coming in a perforated upper that gets a sleek boost via the patent leather striping. The other release aims more for the classic b-ball shoe aesthetic, with a clean tumbled leather and contrasting eggplant stripes. Get the full look at both after the jump and hit up JD Sports to cop yours.

Even though the closest thing to true leather on this pair is the black nubuck that makes up its less ventilated sections, it’s hard to argue that the Reebok Classic Leather Ultralite Thermo isn’t perfectly named. You get the classic ’80s-born style that became a casual default before there was a such a thing as a ‘lifestyle sneaker’ along with improved technology that makes these something approaching a bonafide performance runner. 3D Ultralite cushioning and a highly breathable upper means these are featherweight and breathable, and a layer of Thinsulate insulation ensures you can get some mileage out of them even as we enter into the coldest part of the year. Check them out in additional images after the jump and look for the Classic Leather Ultralite Thermo at select RBK retailers soon including CrookedTongues.

As we saw this summer with their seemingly endless variety of color-coordinated and theme-centered packs, once Supra gets started with a series, there’s no stopping them until the job is finished. Their latest collection is issued in honor of a guy who has been with the crown brand for as long as anyone else this side of Chad Muska, his Suprano Hi pro model one of the brand’s early staples. The Supra Thunder Low Jim Greco collection signifies that, while we’ve seen with our own eyes that the Suprano has been AWOL for some time, that you can consider the Thunder fully Greco’s own. The Thunder has a timeless appeal owing to its simple design and these two burgundy full grain leather and grey suede pairs are sure to satisfy when you grab a pair from select Supra stockists.

Just under a year ago, Converse released a new Chuck Taylor variant tha applied the ridged sole and upper construction including quadruple-stitching that you’d find on the traditional duck boot design. Its lowtop vamp wasn’t really intended to keep the harsh elements away from your feet, but just like this new pack, that can be just fine when the One Star continues to hit the aesthetic mark so precisely. The Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi ‘D-Boots’ are instantly recognizeable, again, thanks to the heavy-duty stitching that connects the upper and mudguard, but this trio’s reliance upon suede for that bottom layer ensures that these’ll remain indoors on the rainiest days. Click through to see more angles and see what you can do about hooking up a pair of these Converse Japan exclusives when they release next month.

The Custom US574 program has given sneakerheads a chance to try their own color combination in New Balance’s online authoring tool, but here’s proof that along with the best quality materials and construction, some of the best color combos are ‘Made in USA’. The New Balance 574 just arrived in two new colorways at select retailers across the country, one of the pairs with obvious autumn timing for its tonal brown plus red getup, the other perhaps longing for the blue skies of summer with a rich shade giving way to cloud-like tonal accents plus white and grey for balance. They’re both impressive in their own right and are available at NB accounts like West NYC.

Vans Vault has come through with some of the highest quality offerings from Off the Wall over the past four or so years, this latest colleciton for the holiday season including eight new pairs and zero exceptions to that generalization. Moving from low to high, we have the Vans Slip-On LX Snake with the named reptile texture providing a novel look for this oft-patterned lowtop. Two pairs of Era LX Flannels feature that fuzzy stuff on the sides sandwiched between leather heels and toes, while the Chukka Standard Issue LX keeps the leather just to its toes. Last but not least come two beige-soled Switchback LX Snakes whose scaly sections are strictly on the ankle collar. Images of all these await your click on the jump below, then you can find them at Vans Vault dealers including New York’s Vans DQM General store.

Early previews of adidas Originals plans for 2011 suggested the Brand with the Three Stripes would be relying heavily upon wild animal prints, and though we’ve seen a good number of these designs hit retail, they’re far from the majority. That’s what makes this new duo of adidas Originals Hardland hightops so special: their mix of contrasting suedes with a crocodile-textured underlay one of the more unique implementations from this brand or any all year. Will you go the more natural route and pick up the Clear Sand pair or maybe something even more eye-catching in Strong Red? Images of both pairs await your click on the jump below, and after you make your decision you’ll find these available at select Three Stripes retailers like End.

Batman rocked Jordans? Back in 1992, Nike created a special pair of Air Jordan VI footwear for the Dark Knight as the unique design seemed to match Batman’s suit. Of course, the Air Jordan VI ‘Batman’ never released, though it is one of the coolest artifacts in Nike’s history. PH23Customs recently completed a custom pair of Air Jordan VIs with the Dark Knight in mind; using the Oreo VI as the base, PH23 blacked out the white leather upper and astutely colored a few sections with a dark navy blue, like the Jumpman on the tongue, the midsole, and the stripe on the ‘spoiler’ on the heel. Continue reading for a detailed look at one of the best Air Jordan VI customs we’ve seen and let us know what you think.

If it were any other year, LeBron James would be down in Miami (or in Cleveland, if we’re talking pre-Summer of 2010) training with his teammates. But with the NBA lockout placing the 2011-12 season aside, the league’s superstars have some extra time on their hands, and LeBron James was caught strolling the streets of New York City, donning Nike LeBron gear from head to ankle and the Nike Air Max 2011 from ankle to toe. Perhaps he’s staying on location of where the NBA negotiations are being held, but until the lockout gets resolved, expect to see more of LeBron James in street-clothes and not in Miami Heat uniforms. via sandrarose.

Don’t call it a make-over, but the Air Max 90 has received quite a number of new outfits for 2011. It started with the ‘ACG Pack’, followed by the Hyperfuse revival, the VT varieties, and rip-stop renditions, and now we have a look at a sample of the Air Max 90 in a denim-like material. No release of this new style of Air Max 90s has been brought to light just yet, but it could most certainly be a sign of exciting new things to come for the Air Max 90. Check out the extra shots below and if you want to add these to your stash, check out the auction from kicksinthehead on eBay.

It was just under a week ago that Sneaker News profiled another new Nike Air Vortex LTR release that looks quite a bit like the new one we have to share with you today. That earlier pair was entirely covered in grey suede and the only simblance of color came from the Swoosh on their tongue tags. That’s still there on this new edition, but your eye will naturally fall upon the dusty Pink Glaze shade that now makes up the same shape across their side panels. It’s the kind of colorway that makes you realize almost any muted shade could have looked beautiful in the pink’s place, and this pair gives guys a relatively subtle way to turn heads when you pick up a pair at Nike Sportswear retailers like End.
