Nothing exemplifies Michael Jordan’s love of the game of basketball like the Nike SB P-Rod IV does. All sarcasm aside, the P-Rod IV was one of the select PE’s made for Michael Jordan when the ‘For The Love Of The Game’ collection was created for the huge Jordan Brand event that went on during the summer months of 2010. This P-Rod IV adopts the same FTLOTG concept, using a tonal university blue upper with a solid white outsole, with the special laser graphics on the toebox of the shoe. Another funky touch is the Jumpman logo on the heel and the FTLOTG graffiti typefont on the insoles. We have a nice detailed viewing of this rare pair below, so take a good look and check out the full auction from oregonsole on eBay.

Not long ago Sneaker News gave you a first look at the Nike Air Force 1 Low Deconstruct, which featured the classic AF1 silhouette with a re-done upper construction, shedding any material beyond the suede exoskeleton. Here’s a look at three colorways of the Nike Dunk High Deconstruct; the minimal lining route has been done with the Nike Dunk High before, with the ‘NL’ releases of ’05/’06, but these three fresh new vintage-inspired tonal colorways brings back one of the more memorable Dunk releases of the last decade. Check out all three Summer 2012 colorways after the jump and stick with Sneaker News for more Nike Sportswear previews. A big thanks to Fat_Board for the pics!

Earlier today Sneaker News gave you a look at the upcoming Nike LeBron 9 ‘Scarface’, which revealed some interesting details on the inner lining as well as on the white upper shell. However, it’s been confirmed that these have no real influence from the Scarface film, although anything White/Black/Red would be readily attributed to Tony Montana and the iconic movie due to LeBron’s current affiliation with the city of Miami. What’s true about this LeBron 9 colorway is that the graphic art was designed by Alvaro Ilizarbe, aka Freegums, a local artist in Miami; it features an intricate detailing on the inner lining as well as the toe-box that is seen in Alvaro’s trademark style – a mosaic of imagery inspired by deities and the supernatural. On this LeBron 9, you can clearly some festive LeBron-centric symbolism, like the crown behind the tongue and the basketball. When it’s all said and done, one of the most underrated and under-appreciated sneaker releases of 2011 will undoubtedly be the Asics Gel Saga in the OG Black/Purple/White colorway. Asics has been on the rise thanks to the mounting excitement and ‘hype’ surrounding those Ronnie Fieg x Asics collaborations, and with a increased presence in North American markets arriving soon, Asics will be a major player in the Retro-runner horizon – one that’s been the pacemaker for the Euro sneaker game for decades. Arriving during the Spring/Summer 2012 season will be two more OG Gel Saga colorways; the only caveat is that the White/Blue/Orange will be a leather make-up rather then the original suede. Check out the detailed angles of both colorways below and let us know what you think. via SM.

The all-white Air Foamposite One Penny Hardaway PE we showed you on Monday had sneakerheads clamoring for their release. Those pure Foams are the latest in a growing set of Nike Sportswear Penny exclusives that also includes Nike Zoom Rookie LWP and Air Force 1 Lows we’ve seen over the past few months. Given that those Zoom Rookies were cast in white with grey ‘pods’, you might conclude that this pristine white and black edition is the next best thing to Penny’s own whiteouts. They don’t glow in the dark like the Luminous Pearl edition but these will absolutely add some substantial shine to your collection, so be sure to check back with Sneaker News for the US release date. via Kicks-crew

Supra has already paid homage to the OG Neon colorway of the Air Max 95 once before, being fairly explicit in their tribute with this Supra Skytop II. Well they’re at it again, this time with the not-so-subtly titled ‘Max Pack’, a trio featuring the Supra Vaider Low, Supra Society, and Supra Cuttler all done up in Neon-esque colors. While the gradient isn’t as pronounced on this set, the core of the recipe is still there: neon yellow paired with a smooth set of greys. Check out all three after the jump and be on the lookout for the Supra Max Pack at your local Supra spot.

It was about a week ago that Sneaker News showed you a new Nike Zoom Hyperfuse 2011 Low created as a player exclusive for Deron Williams that we might not see him wear again. You see, Williams is perhaps the highest profile NBA star to have left the US in favor of playing basketball overseas during the league’s lockout, and the navy accents on these Hyperfuse 2011s don’t exactly meld with Beşiktaş Milangaz’ white, black and red uniforms. The outside shot that we’ll never again see D-Will in a Nets uniform in addition to his signature on this deadstock pair of size 13.5s makes them considerably more valuable and rare than the PE release, and a single pair is available now from pinkbass33 on eBay.

After their collaboration with Stussy provided punctuation to early 2011′s spring/summer collection, we haven’t heard all that much from the ongoing RANSOM by adidas Originals collection. But with cold weather right around the corner, Vancouver’s Ransom Holding Co. is back in their element and ready to supply the sneaker world with another round of winter-ready lifestyle-oriented lovelies. The new RANSOM x adidas Originals Strata is equipped with a grey woolen upper whose alliance with tonal and soft brown accents ensures these can compliment any and every outfit you could imagine. Click on the jump below so you can see them in more detail and pick up a pair from select Three Stripes retailers like Caliroots.

If you see the latest Air Force 1 Low release from Nike Sportswear and think they look strikingly similar to something released not too terribly long ago, then consider yourself a true Sneaker News regular. We showed you a Nike Air Force 1 ’07 just after the turn of the year that was cast entirely in Velvet Brown leather along with a translucent tonal outsole and white mid, but unlike the above pictured pair, those earlier Uptowns featured a woodgrain texture on the overlay sections. This new drop keeps it simple and adds a subtle twist with the Light Bone midsole that makes these perfectly earthy as your go-to autumnal look. You can see more angles after the jump and then check for these at NSW retailers including NikeStore.

The best of Nike Air Max 90 colorways always have an electrifying name, from Infrareds to Laser Blues. In that same vein comes the Volt colorway, which dons a set of greys and whites that get a vibrant jolt of color up near the laces. Although the color blocking isn’t quite the same as the OG releases, that’s a minor detail on this otherwise nice colorway. Sticking to the classic formula of leather and mesh, we’d say this Air Max 90 has all the right ingredients. Get a better look at them after the jump and cop your pair now from NSW retailers like Corporate.
