Vans Vault Chukka Boot LX Shaffers Pack

If we could interview the late founder Paul Van Doren or perhaps someone high up in the design department at the company named after him, the question of ‘Who or what exactly is a Shaffer?’ would be a given after seeing this latest drop.  Judging by the quality in these images, they’d likely give a thoroughly satisfying answer, but the truth is, it really doesn’t matter what a ‘Shaffers Pack’ is when theVans Vault Chukka Boot LX is operating this close to the peak of its powers.  These new premium Chukkas are crafted in top-notch oiled leather with pigskin suede on the collar and they’re among the most obviously deluxe trios we’ve seen from Off the Wall all year.  Purple, grey and black pairs await your click on the jump below and you can take about a month to decide which one(s) you want before these hit store shelves December 1st.  via FNG

Converse Skateboarding Black/Gum Pack

When Converse Skateboarding hsowed off its wears at the Agenda trade show this July in New York, they previewed a new CONS KA-One done in white canvas with tonal suede details atop a gum cupsole.  We haven’t seen anything else from that promising preview in the intervening months, but could it be all that far away with word of this new pair hitting retailers?  Kenny Anderson’s Converse signature is back in a tonal black getup that’s the night to the aforementioned pair’s day, a classic yet cutting edge design that’d be perfect for everyday skate and style purposes.  They’re joined by the new Wells lowwtop that’s somewhere between a Chuck Taylor and a Star Player, so click through and you can see more of them before picking up a pair directly from Converse.

Nike All Court Twist Navy + Black Suede

On Thursday, Sneaker News showed you an upcoming pair of Nike All Court Twists in Team Red suede with Oxen Brown accents including the toecap and heel tab.  It turns out this motif is about to be replicated across a couple more colors, and today we have two such designs to share with you.  The All Court twist has rarely looked as good as these three navy blue and black editions, though you can’t help but wonder with the growing/returning popularity of gum soles, if these could have been even better with all-brown bottoms.  We’d wager Nike Sportswear made the right call here, and you can see more evidence for yourself by clicking on the jump below.  They’ll be available at select NSW retailers including Warped soon, so stick with Sneaker News for the US release date.

Air Jordan Spizike New York Knicks New Images

The first release of the Air Jordan Spiz’ike of 2011 will be one that we’ve all been hoping for – Knicks colorways! As you all know, the Spiz’ike was designed with Spike Lee in mind, so releasing them in New York Knicks colorways would only be right. Add in the fact that the Knicks now boast a superstar athlete that just so happens to be a Jordan Brand representative, and you have the perfect alignment of stars for such a celebrated release. These won’t officially drop until next week, November 5th, but here’s another look at these beauties; coming in two different Knicks-centric colorways, we expect both to be major hits once they hit stores. Take another look at both below and let us know which of the two you like better! via pookdogg on NT.

Nike Air Max Sweep Thru New Colorways @ Eastbay

When the Eastern Conference All Star team’s starting power forward starts looking for work at the mall, you know the NBA season is in trouble.  Stars like Amar’e Stoudemire are left needing to put on exhibitions to get back to the hardwood while the league’s latest lockout endures at the risk of losing the Christmas Day extravaganza, but their next round of signatures will roll out so you can still get them even if we’re not gifted with a fresh season of pro roundball.  The Nike Air Max Sweep Thru is set to be Stoudemire’s go-to look whenever he gets back to his day job, these two new releases potential ‘away’ looks that could compliment his New York Knicks uniforms.  You can choose from Cool Grey with Team Orange and black accents or go with the classic black/grey, both of which are available now from select Nike Basketball stockists like Eastbay.

Nike Blazer High TG Sable Green + Black

As the lifestyle sneaker scene has continued to grow over the past few years, we’ve seen ever more emphasis placed on adding some extra ‘class’ to the classics.  This can be done in a variety of ways, and the brogue embellishments, chukka-style eyestays, spongy silicon soles and deck shoe design elements we’ve seen account for only a small portion of what’s out there today.  Another fine example is the use of the immortal gum brown outsole, which applied to these glossy leather-uppered Nike Blazer High TGs, makes for something that feels like an old-fashioned dress shoe while still expressing a youthful flavor.  Check out black and olive pairs after the jump and then look for them at select Nike Sportswear accounts like Size?.

Nike WMNS Air Force 1 Low Grain

Nike Air Force 1s for women are an indispensable part of the Nike Sportswear lineup, and the latest releases show how far NSW has come from the days of ‘pink em and shrink em’. This new WMNS Air Force 1 Low applies the tonal look that’s so popular of late, the above pictured pair in Grain leather from head to toe with a matching sole. The only contrast here is subtle in color but more apparent in gloss, a flowery side panel pattern that gives this Army fatigue-leaning colorway a more feminine feel. There’s another pair on the way we’ll show you soon, but in the meantime, you can peep more images of these AF1 Lows for ladies and then pick up a pair from Kicks-crew.

Nike ACG Manoa Leather Haystack

Nike Sportswear has been pumping out some tough looking sneakers via the Vac Tech series of releases, but Nike ACG has and will always be the true home for the brawny gear. This is the second time we’ve heard from the newly released Nike ACG Manoa, and this time around the boot gets the straight up Timberland treatment. From the monochrome haystack upper to the black leather wrapping the ankle, the inspiration for these is clear. The overall feel is similar to the handful of ‘wheat’ flavored joints we’ve seen on the VT side of things, but with a much sturdier build out thanks to the heavy traction on bottom. Get a full look at the Nike ACG Manoa Leather after the jump and grab them now from Purchaze overseas.
