Air Jordan VII – CDP Sample

In 2008, Jordan Brand embarked upon a year-long monthly schedule of Collezione Package releases. As you all know very well by now, each of the Collezione Packages featured two Air Jordan models, with their numbered designations totaling the number 23. Some of the packages featured an Original colorway of an Air Jordan paired with a new Retro+ Chicago Bulls-based rendition, which might’ve been the case for the Air Jordan 7/16 Package. Here’s another look at an unreleased sample of the Air Jordan VII for that Pack (we showed you these a few months back); it features a basic White/Red/Black colorway with a tonal white upper and alternate color-blocking on the forefoot outrigger and heel (red in front, black on the rear). These samples do feature the Collezione label on the insole as well as a 2008 dating on the label, so that leads us to wonder why these were scrapped in the first place. Of course, the ‘Hare’ colorway that subsequently released is one of the more celebrated installments of the entire Collezione year, but do you like these better? Phase2x, you know I got your back, and I love rare samples. And I prolly would have bought these 7s too if I had the chance. But c'cmon, the Hare's shit on these, and they prolly got scrapped cuz they lookin like then Orion 7s, and shin/cheap lookin and shit. But maybe that's just me. Real talk tho, phase2x can crush 90% of the collections out there. Gotta get that bread. sALuTe

I'd rather see these in the pack & Hares a separate release. Same with Carmines & BC3's. That's just me. They're not too bad though.
i like them but they look a lil cheap the leather should be tumbled. i think they will look better IMO.

i thought the hares dropped in 2008??? those are kinda of iconic..these remind me of the black blue joints that are still sitting on shelves only these are bulls colorways.
Do you guys do ANY research before you post some of these write-ups? It seems like there is misinformation in about 1 of every 3 posts. Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Hares release in the 7/16 pack?

Um correct me if im wrong but the "Raptor" colorway was part of the DMP pack. The "Hares" made the CDP pack.
