If one had to pick a “flaw” from Michael’s pre-retirement (the first one) game, it would be his long-range jumpshot. Michael was good for one out of four three-pointers during the ’91-’92 regular season, hitting just 27 three-pointers for the entire season, but during the first half of Game 2 of the 1992 NBA Finals, Michael hit six three pointers – a feat even Michael couldn’t comprehend. During that famed performance, Michael wore the Black/True Red colorway of the Air Jordan VII (known as the ‘Raptors’ by the current generation of Jordan fans). But if one were to call it a flaw, it was one that Michael quickly corrected, as he became one of the most dangerous marksmen in the league – and he wasn’t even a three-point shooter! Need a refresher? Check out the video from the ’92 Finals below as well as a detailed look at this rare pair of the Air Jordan VII, and if you want to add these deadstock gems to your collection, visit the auction from brokeonjordans on eBay.

Man i cant wait for thse to come out.. my little brother is waiting for these i must get him a pair too
People complain about how the white/red 14s are called the candy canes, but it's not as bad as people calling the black/red/purple 7s the raptors. I mean, the toronto raptors franchise never even existed when these first came out. Even though it's also the raptors' team colors.
I really like the shape of the og 7s compared to recent retros. The retros just dont have that "look" that these have.
AJ 7's are dope, are your shoes on this list? http://www.jackfroot.com/2011/10/jackfroot-coms-t...
O buddy i see u guys sayin how these arent supposed to be called the raptors, but cmon im from toronto and damn these are a grail for any man in T.O. that knows wtf dope is
Jordan 7's as a whole are in my top 5 for j's..this has the best blend of grey and black btw the 01's and dmp, these are fresh I'd cop if I could find a 13
And these are NOT Raptors, colors are off, t don't even think the raptors e were even a team in the league yet...
I hate when people call these the raptors like im pretty sure michael jordan didnt play for the raptors and im pretty sure the raptors didnt even exist when these released back in '92 and think about this way these are really bred 7's
I BOUGHT AN OG PAIR OF RAPTORS 4 YEARS AGO.... I STILL HAVE THEM.... FRESH... I GOT IT FOR $225 SHIPPED WITH OG BOX & FLIGHT CLUB CARD.....
last time i checked, they were purple and red, someone, anyone, tell me what the colors of the toronto raptors are please, there you go eric
ur a moron. just cuz u wear a bigger size doesnt mean someone who does wear an 8 wouldnt spend that on that shoe. and whats 50 more dollars for a classic?
I grew up when all these "classic" jordans came out, these were WACK when they came out, nobody liked them, now , all of a sudden, they are hot... F- out of here...
Lmao no idiot they're not Raptors...at all. 2002s I call Breds too. 2010s are Bulls. They fucked up the pack too with the date. It was January 16th 1993 when he dropped 64 not March 16. Purple is not listed in the official colorway scheme. Only Black/True Red. BRED dumbfucks.
STFU !!!!!! I HAVE A RIGHT TO ABOUT MY OG PAIR.... YOU'RE JUST MAD BECAUSE YOU DON'T OWN A PAIR.... GROW UP.... F*****G TEENAGER.... THIS IS A SNEAKER BLOG SITE NOT A PLACE FOR JELOUS PEOPLE...... DON'T COMMENT ON A SNEAKER SITE IF IT'S NOT ABOUT SNEAKERS.... CASE CLOSED.... GOODBYE TO YOU SIR.....
You said what...? NOBODY likes the VII's when they came out! Son, you gotta be kidding. In that era, just about every kid around the block wanted to be like Mike. He and his team were on their way to a repeat. More than likely YOU were drinking some Gatorade and those Hanes held your nut sack tight, too. And, you say NOBODY LIKED those shoes? Wait a minute...YOU must be Rick Rosie's DJ. I just realized that. Damn...you need to drink some of that Haterade son! No disrespect, but your Ben Wallace wasn't even around yet at that time.
A a matter of fact, the only 7's that were sought after like that were the playgrounds, which are now called the Bordeaux's...
