It’s a part of the very essence of the Jordan Spiz’ike to borrow from the Air Jordan Legacy, so while utilizing an Air Jordan VII OG colorway is unprecedented, it’s not entirely unexpected. We’ve seen ‘Cool Grey’ and ‘Stealth’ editions reach beyond the (III-VI) + IX formula, so this new Bordeaux colorway now becomes the latest in a growing line of appropriated palettes and is instantly the most different of the bunch when compared to its inspiration. They offer more of a combination of Bulls and Tar Heels colors thanks to a truer red relative to the wine-colored shade for which the AJ7s were named; would you have preferred the traditional shade to this updated look? Neither sad, nor true. The people who have been hating on the shoe from Day 1 still hate on it. The people who have been liking the shoe from Day 1 still like it. The people who don't like the shoe, but understand that it was designed by a kid and that it's for charity still understand that it was designed by a kid and that it's for charity.
There's not even any fuccing purple in here. last i remember, the bordeauxs were inspired by wine.
Take the bordeaux strings out switch them to black.... Blue jeans and a nice polo white r black them hoes will go

before anyone bashes this shoe take a step back and actually take a look at the color bordeaux. sure, the actual bordeaux 7s are nowhere near the color blocking of this spizike. but the reality is jordan brand chose to use lighter shades from the bordeaux 7s. this spizike is stressing the colors that accented the bordeaux 7s all of us who have the bordeaux 7s know that majority of the shoe is charcoal and black. the COLOR bordeaux is the WINE color on the shoe. it was the accenting color to the 7s since majority of the shoe was charcoal and black. is this a bad representation of the bordeaux 7s? yes. but is the concept of the shoe there? yes. im not bashing any of u for ur opinions, because honestly im not a fan of this look either. but dont trash this shoe until u understand what jordan brand was intending to do when they designed this colorway

The only thing this shoe has going for it is that the leather quality actually looks decent, besides that whoever designed it should not ever be allow to come up it another colorway...clown shoes indeed.
