Air Jordan XIV GS – Black – Pink | New Images

Sneaker News gave you a look at a Girls-only colorway of the Air Jordan XIV – a Black/Pink colorway blocked similarly to the ‘Last Shot’ XIV that is set for a December release. Here we have a first detailed look at this release; the toe-box and heel panel features a glossy faux-crocskin material paired with a nubuck upper in the center panel. At the midsole is the ‘body kit’ painted in pink, matching the inner lining and well as the rubber heel of the shoe. The Air Jordan XIV is rather inviting when it comes to easy color-blocking (imagine a team-based set of XIVs), making this Black/Pink colorway one of the better Retro+ releases we’ve seen in a while. Jordan doesn't do any Jordan releases for women anymore. It's just not in the cards. They figure they are covered (which they definitely are) with the Mens sizes all the way down to the Grade or Pre sizes. There really is no reason to have a Womens release when you can just do it in Kids sizes.

Not that I like this cw but how long has it been since the last wmns release of a Jordan retro? All I see is regular or GS releases. JB gave up on women? Some of the sickest retros ever were wmns releases: sand IV's, ice green X's, linen XIV's for example. I want more of that!
