From LIVESTRONG to Play Strong, the black and yellow combo has shifted when it comes to Nike sneaker colorways over the past couple years. The Lance Armstrong-affiliated releases have moved toward alternate palettes featuring the signature yellow while Kobe Bryant’s Nike Basketball signature series has picked up the black, white and yellow trio for an ‘away’ look in lieu of a full-on Lakers colorway. Such is the case with this new Nike Zoom Kobe VII, a model whose only purple is hidden on the base of its unique removable bootie. It’s looking like we’ll be able to rock these on court before Kobe himself, but will you choose this Del Sol-accented edition over the similar black and grey pair? Let us know with a comment when you click through to see more photos, and stick with Sneaker News for updates on these and all Zoom Kobe VII release dates. via RMK

12/22/11 Zoom Kobe VII Supreme Black/Metallic Silver-Tour Yellow-White $180 488244-001 Been listed on Nike.com for at least a month. Clearly not Del Sol but you insist on still saying it is.
i want the rattlesnake versions....wtf...not bad but i am going with the zoom air version insoles so gr for me!
Not even sure if that sleeve is gonna be that effective anyway. It still looks pretty flimsy. Probably better off with the standard versions without the sleeve. If you need ankle support that bad, then kobes ain't for you regardless. You might as well buy some midtops.
The most WTF Kobes ever!!! To make matters worse, no way I patronize a merchandize associated with a greatest cheater of all-time, for the sake of losing hundreds of millions of dollar endorsements.
