From LIVESTRONG to Play Strong, the black and yellow combo has shifted when it comes to Nike sneaker colorways over the past couple years. The Lance Armstrong-affiliated releases have moved toward alternate palettes featuring the signature yellow while Kobe Bryant’s Nike Basketball signature series has picked up the black, white and yellow trio for an ‘away’ look in lieu of a full-on Lakers colorway. Such is the case with this new Nike Zoom Kobe VII, a model whose only purple is hidden on the base of its unique removable bootie.
