The UNC Tar Heels and the Michigan State Spartans will square off this Friday evening in San Diego, CA. What makes the game so special? It’s being played atop an aircraft carrier. Seriously, that’s a whole different level of ‘cool’. Not only does UNC and MSU open its season, but the game festivities itself is a gesture honoring the veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces; seating is limited to just 7,000 spectators – one of which has been confirmed to be the president himself. The game, dubbed the Carrier Classic, will feature the Tar Heels (a Jordan Brand school) and the Spartans (a Nike Basketball school) wearing select colorways of the Air Jordan 8.0 and the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme; we’ve detailed both before, but this midnight, the Carrier Classic Pack will be available for purchase. The two shoes will be sold separately, but are both given the Carrier Classic Pack designation for their role in the iconic game. Air jordan 8.0 are ugly in any colorway , if they would have released the regular retros then it would be a better . Nice hyperdunks but i'm not to big on hyperdunks .
The hyperdunks are ill but the 8.0's are just ehh.
Gimme the hyperdunks....colorway is better on the 8.0s, but i still can't get behind any 8.0's though.

Had that colorway of the 8.0 been placed on an actual Air Jordan VIII, boy that would be one mean looking shoe.

NC is the better school in my opinion BUT when it comes to the kicks them HD Supremes are dope

those hyperdunks are on point..
The hyperdunks are pretty sick, but those 8.0's are trash. But then again, that would apply to ANY colorway in these shoes.
