Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan III in response to Jordan’s request for an animal skin/leather on his shoes. Tinker responded with elephant print, which today remains as one of the most iconic visual details in the history of sneakers. Did Tinker have any idea that twenty-three years down the line, the Air Jordan III would be a family affair? The upcoming Black Friday release of the Air Jordan III Black/Cement will indeed be available in all sizes, with the PS and Toddler sizes being the only two version that won’t feature the visible Max Air. Here’s the full price breakdown; Mens will be $160, GS is set at $110, PS will be $70, the TD (toddler) joints will be a cool $50. I'm not sure if it's greed or it's supply and demand, if the buyer is willing to pay a higher premium then you charge that, pretty simple. If Footlocker and Finishline and Eastbay and Champs and all the other smaller mom and pops decided to stop buying these shoes or bought less, then they would probably decide it would be better to lower the prices. As much as we'd like to believe this is magic, it's not, they actually do take the time to budget and figure out price points.
