If you caught Wednesday night’s feature post on the Nike Basketball and Training releases from the 90′s, you would’ve noticed the Nike Air Go LWP among that impressive cluster of sneakers. The Air Go LWP, while an important player in the design of the Zoom Rookie LWP, isn’t exactly an official Air Penny shoe. In fact, the Air Go LWP was a favorite of a number of NBA players at the time – guys like Tim Hardaway, Reggie Miller, and a number of other speedy guards rocked these lightweight beauties. But with Penny being such a memorable name in an era dominated by Michael Jordan, we often associate the Air Go LWP with him, which is a big reason why it was used as a design foundation for the Zoom Rookie LWP. Tomorrow is the official release date for the wide-release of the Nike Zoom Rookie LWP, and how fitting is it that the colorway is in remembrance of Penny’s days in Orlando? ...the DESIGN alone is an EYECATCHER and im pretty confident they perform well ON-COURT. They are BASKETBALL kicks 1st.Wearing them as STREET GEAR is a matter of OPINION...im rockin mine in the STREET.

The only Penny shoe that gets hyped are foams for 1. 2, this is a hybrid, not a new shoe. 3, I don't call myself a sneakerhead. That shit is lame. I'm just a dude that likes shoes.

these look way better in person. i mean the shoe it self not necessary this color way but the glow in the dark ones and the sole collectors whuite and blue are on point. still debating if im going to get these.
