So what does the first basketball shoe to feature a barefoot-mimicking sole look like, once it’s actually on a foot? That question is answered with this new set of images depicting the Nike Huarache Free 2012 Basketball as they were intended. The original white, blue and purple colorway looks quite fresh, just be sure the same can be said of your socks with the signature ankle cutouts revealing a dip in the Huarache series’ cozy neoprene bootie. Expect these shortly at US Nike Sportswear retailers, and in the meantime, check out some additional images from London’s Foot Patrol.
...if your gone rock these in the STREET,you gotta go with the LOW CUT SOCK to utilize the HUARACHE design. And this should only be done in the SUMMER.
They're nice, but I still can't get behind the free sole idea. But at least that freed up some money I can put towards something else. So in the end, it all works out I guess.
cant wait to get a pair of these. the og flight huaraches are one of my grails, so these are the next best thing
They actually look dope on feet. I couldn't see anybody wearing them off the court before these pictures.
YES! all the colorways i seen are hot as well. but you cant go wrong w the OG's. Geez they look so comfy. cant wait!
I loved this shoe when I was a kid. Reminds me of the fab 5 days! But why did Nike change the sole of the shoe? That's the only down fall on these kicks. If u gonna go of, keep it oh nike.
