Nike Training Shield Collection
November 17th, 2011 by Aaron Hope | 5 comments

The Nike Running Shield Collection spanned six silhouettes when it released back last month, plus the option for you to customize their waterproof designs on NIKEiD. Not to be outdone, the Training divison jumped on board with their own Shield set, this collection featuring PE colorways of the Trainer 1.3 Mid designed after seven of the country’s biggest college football programs. They’re not done with the waterproof Free-soled trainers, just the college theme, as the new Nike Training Shield Collection drops its affiliations in favor of a darker take on the same palette the runners used. This time around, it’s only the Nike Free TR2 getting the special treatment, a shoe that’s joined by the Pro Combat Hyperwarm Shield Mock and Nike Shield K.O. Hoodie for a pack that’ll keep your training more comfortable all winter long. Click through for detailed images and stick with Sneaker News for word on the US release date.

Shape looks better in the pictures much better than in reality shoe is still dope anyway, although the shape could be better and the fit a little bit wider in the midfoot area both the shoes and the pro long sleeve were released in Europe two weeks ago
Wow, looks great. I looked at the detail on the tounge and said "That doesnt look to breathable...", but then saw the toe box has that covered... Awesome
nice pack...i really like the shoes and the hoody
Imagine all the kicks in the future, which repel water and dirt... It'll be sick. I'm thinking black cement 3's that never get dirty. Now thats nice.
