The ‘Old Royal’ colorway of the Air Jordan X has been one of the more popular topics of discussion here on Sneaker News for several reasons. Not only does it mark the first new Retro+ colorway of the Air Jordan X, but it also boasts a significant difference from previous Air Jordan X Retro releases – the mesh material used as the base-layer of the lace placket. Many seem to have expressed a desire for leather instead of mesh, but it appears that it will be a common feature for upcoming Air Jordan X retros, as seen on the White/Violet GS release. The ‘Old Royal’ will follow the drop of the ‘Chicago’ colorway, which does in fact use leather in the area of note, so do you think these are a ‘worthy’ follow-up to that long-awaited original? Check out the new images below and cop this size 9 sample now from el-store on eBay.

Drop the patent leather craze JB. It's not meant for every shoe. You ruined the 5's, now the 10s? WTF!! You guys are on some Puff Daddy shiny suit sh*t. It's not 98!
its crazy, the patent leather is SOOO unecessary when the majority of the shoe is already leather -__-
Must say I like the colorway but I do not like the patent leather. Hope these are only sample and the actual pair don't have that on them
These aren't bad. Unfortunately with the Chicago's X/Cement IVs/red foams all dropping just about with in a month of each other these royals are an easy pass because come march we get another retro X, lime foams followed by the XIIs shortly after.
These look better than the Chicagos. Easy pass on both tho. Im only interested in the original black and steel CW
YEAH THE ONLY J'Z THAT SHOULD PATENT LEATHER ARE THE, 11'S, 16'S & 19'S..... OG DESIGN JB... DON'T F UP UR OTHER HISTORIC J'Z WITH THAT BS.....
