It may be redundant to say that the Nike Air Force 1 Bespoke experience is unlike any other sneaker customization experience out there. We’ve seen quite a load of Bespoke creations over the last two years, and with some limited sneakers like the Air Jordan XIII ‘Ray Allen’, Parra x Patta x Air Max 1, and LeBron 8 ‘Miami Nights’ and ‘South Beach’ reaching upwards of $1,000, the Bespoke seems like the more sensible purchase. PHANTACi of Taiwan, who we all know has a thing for creating sick colorways (that Green Hornet x New Balance MT580 and Air Max 1 ‘Grand Piano’ are just a couple of examples), used Planet 257248 as its Bespoke inspiration; the planet, discovered in Taiwan in 2009, was named ‘Chouchiehlun’ after Jay Chou, the Taiwanese singer and actor. Featuring a tonal metallic silver upper with blue contrast stitching, black inner lining, a fully-translucent sole, and ‘Chouchiehlun’ stitched on the heels, this Bespoke is (no pun intended) out of this world. Check out the detailed shots below and stick with Sneaker News for more Bespoke updates!

Looks like nothing but clear skies ahead in the NBA forecast. Kevin Durant, the two-time NBA Scoring Title holder for two years and running, will defend his crown as the best bucket-maker in the league, but will he start off the season wearing the Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Weatherman’? Sneaker News gave you a look at this sick new ‘Weatherman’ last Friday – colorway that is inspired by Durant’s personal life. Had he not gone to the NBA, Durant would’ve pursued becoming a weatherman. That theme has transferred to the Nike Zoom KD IV, which features a multi-colored upper designed after a temperature map and elevation lines. The translucent outsole also reveals Kevin Durant’s foot-print, with the red ‘hot’ zones detailing the pressure points of his feet. The Nike Zoom KD IV ‘Weatherman’ will release in limited numbers this December 10th at select Nike Basketball retailers, so continue reading for a detailed look and let us know what you think.

Could these be the ‘Un-Doernbecher’ Air Max 95? It certainly has that patriotic colorway to it, and a quick lace-swap to white (or even gold, if you have that at your disposable) would create a sick USA-inspired rendition of the Air Max 95. This one’s got a tonal Obsidian suede upper with a new Action Red detailing on the Swoosh, inner lining, tongue, outsole, and Max Air unit. Another thing to note is that this Air Max 95, a January 2012 release, will retail for $150 – a $5 increase from the current 2011 MSRP of Air Max 95s. Sneaker News reported the news of an across-the-board price increase in Nike products, and it looks like it will take effect starting this January (even Air Force 1 Lows will bump from $88 to $90). In any case, if you’re a keen sneaker shopper, almost anything can be obtained at sale prices, so check out the images of this new Air Max 95 colorway below and let us know what you think.

Dwyane Wade may be an NBA star of the 21st Century, but he sure has that 90′s superstar mentality about him. His game relies on speed, toughness, and attacking the rim, with his secret weapon being the off-the-glass bank shot. Truth is, there’s a lot of Michael Jordan inside of Dwyane Wade’s game, and while crowning the ‘next Michael Jordan’ is somewhat of a thing of the past (because there will never be another Michael), Wade has displayed the best possible pitch for earning that title. The Jordan Fly Wade 2, which will debut this December 7th, carries that 90′s style, but with new age technology. Supportiing the Wade 2 is a Hyperfuse upper, a Lunar outsole, and a midfoot shank plate that extends three-quarters of the entire shoe and actually curls up the heel for added protection. Non-Air Jordan designs will forever be the object of scrutiny, but on a technical standpoint, the Fly Wade 2 is undoubtedly one of the most advanced that Jordan Brand has ever devised. Continue reading for another look at the Jordan Fly Wade 2 and stick with Sneaker News for more updates on the Fly Wade 2 as they develop.
