Nike WMNS Dunk High Skinny VT Premium Medium Grey

By this point, Sneaker News regulars will have recognized that the VacTech construction introduced on the Air Royal has spread to a variety of Nike Sportswear classics, not the least of which is the 1985-born classic that just keeps coming back with more white midsoled goodness. The Nike WMNS Dunk High Skinny VT Premium pictured above in Medium Grey suede is the first Skinny Dunk to join the vacuum-built group, and it could quite easily go down as one of the collection’s very best. NSW nails another neutral look and you can get them at select retailers now like SNS.

adidas adiZero Rose 2.5 Low

Now that they’ve got an MVP on their hands, you’d better believe adidas Basketball isn’t going to be caught slacking when it comes to the Derrick Rose footwear line. The adidas adiZero Rose 2.0 only recently hit shelves but we’ve already got an upcoming look at the low version of the adidas adiZero Rose 2.5 which is scheduled for release early next year. This preview shows off a few of the expected Bulls colorways, as well a few blue looks and a nice blacked out joint. This low cut offering seems to lend itself well to casual wear, so hopefully we’ll see Rose’s influence spill out to the streets a bit more come 2012. Get the full look after the jump. via CK

Vans Authentic 10 Oz Canvas Pack

Are old-fashioned sneaker laces going the way of the dodo? Probably not, but you might think that at first glance given the countless number of drops we’ve seen with the rounded boot-lace look this season. Vans picks up the look for the Vans Authentic, dropping a new range of this iconic shoe for the Holiday ’11 season. The laces aren’t the only thing special here, as the uppers are constructed using a tough ten ounce canvas, pretty much making these as beefy as they can get without abandoning the original slim look. The collection keeps it under the radar as far as colors used, letting the material selection be the star of the show here. Check out the detailed photos we’ve got after the jump and be on the lookout for them at your local Vans retailer. via FreshNGood

55DSL CRI55 CRO55 + 55TOP Sneakers

The CRI55 CRO55 and the 55TOP? To some that may look like a jumbled mess of letters and numbers, but as a generation that grew up typing dirty words on calculators, you should be able to decipher the sneaker names from the new collection dropping from 55DSL. The high-top 55TOP aims for the look of an old school skate sneaker, coming with a half and half upper colorway wise that breaks into a clean combo of leather and suede on the toe box. The CRI55 CRO55 clearly has DNA rooted in the realm of runners, with a sleek silhouette that mixes up suede and nylon for a vintage look. Follow us after the jump for the first look at 55DSL’s new capsule and let us know in the comments what you think. Keep your eyes peeled for the CRI55 CRO55 and the 55TOP at 55DSL and DIESEL locations starting this month.

Basquiat x Reebok BB4600 Black Yellow

If you’re at all familiar with the late Jean-Michel Basquiat then you should shouldn’t be expecting anything ordinary from the Reebok collection inspired by his work. Indeed the pieces released so far have channeled the chaotic feelings that his art embodied, embracing the jagged lines and neo-expressionistic imagery. We’ve got the look at the latest from the collection, a second Reebok BB4600 this time with a stark black and yellow combination. Various piece of the sneaker pay homage to the fallen artist, with his birth year of 1960 scrawled on the back end and his ubiquitous crown logo stamped on the tongue. Follow us after the jump for the latest from the Basquiat x Reebok collection and hit up Allike to get yours.

Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey

Converse has had a string of high profile collabos of late that have ambitiously flipped the traditional look of the All-Star staples. The Gorillaz and Kicks/HI team ups both went down the camo route, and the recent Medicom Jack Purcells took that sneaker to fuzzy new heights. Well it turns out Converse is capable of the upgrade without any outside help as we see here on the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Bosey’, which gets rawhide laces and an authentic distressed leather for a very smart look. The rubberized toe cap is a bit beefed up as well, making them a good choice for the winter months. Get a better look at the Converse Chuck Taylor All Star ‘Bosey’ after the jump and cop them now from the Converse webstore.

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Aquamamba Customs by Emmanuelabor

Sneaker News recently showed you an Air Jordan III done up with Nike Zoom Kobe VI-inspired detailing, but almost everyone outside the Los Angeles megalopolis would agree, any such custom ‘should’ be the contemporary nodding in respect toward the trailblazer.  And that’s what you get with the latest work from Emmanuelabor, a Nike Zoom Kobe VI iD turned ‘Aquamamba’ thanks to the inclusion of the ‘Aqua’ Air Jordan VIII’s signature streaking along the ZK6′s Swoosh and heel.  Going with a NIKEiD base allowed for ‘AQUA’ embroidery on the inner tongue and a translucent outsole; would you like to see the latter on an AJVIII Retro+, or perhaps on the Air Jordan 8.0?  Check out this MJ-inspired Zoom Kobe 6 in more images after the jump and let us know how these rank against the ever growing file of classic colorway reprisals.  via PaintorThread

Air Jordan XIV Retro White Varsity Red New Images

During Michael Jordan’s second run with the Chicago Bulls when he won three Championships in three full seasons, the Air Jordan XI, XII and XIII each released in regular season and All-Star colorways before breaking out the black playoff-oriented designs. It probably would have been the same for the 1998-99 season, had the first part of it even been played and MJ not decided to retire with what was perhaps the most perfect career ending storyline in sports history. But had MJ returned as a part of that 50-game ’99 season that seems like a blessing to modern NBA fans, we might have come to associate this Air Jordan XIV Retro in white and Varsity Red with a seventh championship run and the ever-elusive four-peat. So here’s a shoe that offers a reminder of a history that never was, but you can absolutely count on them to release come next spring, so be sure to check back with Sneaker News for the US release date. via Kinstor

Jordan Spizike Neutral Grey Varsity Maize Dark Shadow Varsity Red

This upcoming colorway of the Jordan Spiz’ike has stirred up quite a debate on the Sneaker News comments corner, regarding the ‘Bordeaux’ moniker that’s been attached to the shoe. Truth is, these are more ‘Doernbecher’ than ‘Bordeaux’, as it features quite a hodge podge of tones – Varsity Maize, Sapphire Blue, Varsity Red, and a bright Green on top of the multiple hues of grey. However, this upcoming release holds no bearing on either the famed OG Air Jordan VII colorway or the children’s hospital that Nike has collaborated with for several years, but instead spearheads the Jordan Spiz’ike movement for 2012 while leading to the next Spike Lee-centric hybrid – the Jordan Son Of Mars. We’ve got a new set of detailed images for you below, so take a look and stick with Sneaker News for more Jordan Brand 2012 release information and updates. via RMK.
