Nike Air Max 95 Black Anthracite Orange

The latest retro running release from Nike Sportswear’s Air Max legacy looks like it could have dropped last month with a jack-o-lantern hangtag, which means it also bears a strong reemblance to another pair of Nike Air Max 95s that had already earned the ‘Halloween’ nickname.  But a closer look at this new pair reveals that not only is the shade of orange on this pair more of a tangerine whereas the earlier joints were bold like a Team Orange, but also that the eyelet striping is slightly different as well.  That means more sneakerheads will have a chance to get their hands on another orange-accented Air Max 95s when these release in mid-December; how do they rank agianst the ‘Halloween’ and ‘Mandarin Orange’ pairs from earlier this year?

Nike Air Flight 89 True Blue Sample

The Nike Air Flight ’89 was one of the first sneakers to represent Nike Basketball’s ‘Flight’ wing (the anti-thesis to the rough-edged Force). At that point, Michael Jordan was considered to take the helm for the new Flight squad, but Nike chose to go forward with the Air Jordan line, and appointed Ron Harper as the face of Nike Flight – with the Air Flight ’89 right beside him. Now considered a classic by many Nike connoisseurs, the Air Flight ’89 was re-issued quite a number of times over the decade, but there’s no doubt it’s a shoe that we can’t get enough of. Sneaker News gave you a preview of Spring 2012 releases of this Flight originator, and here we have a look at a sample of the White/Blue/Red colorway (we’ll call it the ‘True Blue’ for now). These are expected to release in early 2012, so take another look below and check out the listing from loco_1979 on eBay.

Jordan Six Rings Winterized Boot Burgundy

More and more sneakers are appropriating rugged boot-derived design elements into their designs these days, but here’s a case where that boot look is applied to an actual boot.  A hybrid of Air Jordan Legacy standouts even before it was ruggedized, the Jordan Winterized Six Rings Boot now brings a bit of that timeless Red Wing Boots energy into the mix with a burgundy suede getup that adds yellow/brown corded laces to complete its blue collar appeal.  These are just the latest in a long line of impressive Winterized Six Rings; are they the best pair we’ve seen so far?  Look over a few more images after the jump to aide in your decision, then look for these at select Jordan Brand retailers like Oneness.

Reebok Classic Chi Kaze

Swizz Beatz isn’t exactly known for spitting off the dome, but it’s clear he got into freestyle mode for the latest iteration of the RBK Kamikaze line.  This crazy new higher-topped version is to be known as the Reebok Classic Chi-Kaze, pronounced ‘she-Kaze’ in reference to its status as a ladies-only release.  The feminine appeal is clear on the black nubuck joints with their Overtly Pink and Blaze Yellow accents and experienced sneakerheads will remember the dual ankle strap motif from Reebok’s immortal Freestyle ladies hightops.  That pair and another in tonal grey with neon hits will be available next month, so click through to see more and stick with Sneaker News for release info.  via NITRO:licious

Nike Zoom Kobe VI Lakers 3 D + Gradient Release Date

Fortunately for sneakerheards worldwide, Nike is on the Basketball Never Stops plan, which in turn means that the killer colorways shouldn’t stop anytime soon either. So while we won’t be seeing either of these versions of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI on any NBA feet this year, that shouldn’t stop you from stacking pairs for yourself. The Lakers 3-D and Gradient releases utilize the same basic color blocking, flipping the placement across the two pairs for a home and away look. Throughout the lifespan of the Nike Zoom Kobe VI the sneaker has been a reference point for the sort of advanced graphics capabilities presented by the synthetic uppers, and these two pairs are no exception. Set to hit stores this Saturday November 19th, these two pairs ensure that the Nike Zoom Kobe VI will be going out with a bang rather than a whimper.

Puma Shadow Society States Outdoor

Just as is the case with any good conspiracy, the members behind Puma’s Shadow Society have managed to remain anonymous to this day, though they’re certainly attracting a bunch of attention with releases as dope as these.  The Shadow Society is back with its third pack of Suede lowtops, renamed the Puma States to reflect their colloquial name in the UK and for this rendition, dipped in monochromatic suede whose leather sockliner adds a Gore-Tex waterproof layer in between.  Expect red and blue pairs of the ‘Outdoor’ States atop gum soles with extra laces at select Puma retailers on December 2nd.  via SM

Air Jordan XI Low Deion Sanders PE Sample

Very few individuals in the history of professional sports have entertained us like Deion Sanders did. The dual-sport athlete has donned some of the sickest Air Jordan PE cleats in history, like the tonal-black Air Jordan XI and the White/Red/Yellow version that featured ‘Prime Time’ stitched on the tongue of the shoe. Did you know there was a low-top version of that PE, and in basketball-ready form? Here’s a look at a the Air Jordan XI Low in White/Red/Yellow; it features a a white leather upper with a red patent-leather mudguard and a yellow inner lining and Jumpman Jordan stripe on the tongue. Surely one of the rarest pieces of Air Jordan PEs out there, this sample was spotted by PE-extraordinaire Phase2x from the personal collection of fellow mega-collector SpurSniperSeven. We’ve got another look for you below so take a peek and let us know what you think.

fragment design x Nike Air Magma Zip Release Info

Experienced sneakerheads can instantly spot the Nike Air Magma’s influence on the recently debuted ACG Zoom Meriwether, and with that new model set to hit retailers soon in a couple of fragment design-ed colorways, it’s only right to see the same on its forebear.  The fragment design x Nike Air Magma Zip adds one of the Meriwether’s key features to allow easier on-and-off with the notoriously clean Magma, its newly placed medial zippers the first time we’ve seen a color accent on its familiar silhouette other than the laces and lining.  Check out Dark Obsidian and Matte Silver suede editions along with a black leather pair in greater detail after the jump and look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers in December.

Celebrity Feet: Theophilus London Air Jordan XI Space Jam

Is wearing Air Jordans with leather pants the new statement in hip-hop fashion? It’s true that only a select number of people could actually pull that off, and Theophilus London, recognized for his unique and eccentric taste in threads, is certainly one of those dudes who can wear Jays with cow-skin trousers and still maintain a look of sanity. Theophilus was spotted at a special benefit event at The Museum Of Modern Art, where he posed for the cameras in front of a wall of red roses (taking the red carpet theme to a flora-based motif) while wearing the Air Jordan XI Space Jam. More shots of Theophilus and his Space Jams are below so take a look and let us know what you think!
