The ‘Salmon Toe’ colorway of the Ronnie Fieg x Asics Gel Lyte III was one of the most popular Retro runners of the year – so what happens when a similar colorway gets adapted to a more widely-popular silhouette like the Nike Air Max 1? This upcoming January 2012 release of the Nike Air Max 1 features a similar colorway was the Fieg classic, using original Air Max 1 color-blocking, white sport mesh toe-boxes, and the beloved multi-colored outsole.
