Attention haters: if the recent string of Justin Bieber freestyles popping up online wasn’t enough to get your blood boiling then check this one out. The teenage heartthrob popped up in the ‘All I Want For Christmas’ music vid duet with Mariah Carey rocking the Black/Cement Air Jordan III, one of the hottest retros of the season. No word on whether he stood in line for them or not, but chances are that a dude selling as many records as he is doesn’t mind the eBay prices. Hey "boy," the educational system is not just for "chumps." Plenty of people do waste their time, energy and money on degrees, but many others do not. I think the key is guidance from parents/teachers/mentors/friends etc. As an example, if you want to sell sneakers, there's a pretty good chance you can find someone who will help get you into the business and teach you the basics to get it going. Keep in mind, when dealing with money you DO need to have half a brain. You need to understand costs and inventory management etc. (oh yeah, you need to pay your bills and taxes and so forth). But, I will agree, not every millionaire needs a college education. Using Justin Beiber as the example though, well not sure that makes any sense at all. He got help from extremely famous artists and as much as it shames me to say this, he's got skills that fit a niche. How many have done exactly what Justin Beiber has done? My guess is no one ever, at least I can't think of a little boy who became such a hit by himself at such a young age and has kept it going for years. Anyway, there are indeed plenty of jobs which "require" a college education. From my own personal experience I can say that these entry level jobs use that as a barrier of entry to limit applicants in many cases, but still, they do hold to this requirement. Once you get in a big Corporation you can then move up and end up making excellent money on your way to "1 million." You could NOT have done this in many large Corporations without the college education. I could go on and on and on, but I realize I'm definitely wasting my finger energy at this point, especially on an older thread. My main point, people just need guidance and help from those they trust who are experienced and have been able to do what they want to do.
