Robot Sneaker Sculptures by TransShoe Formers
December 6th, 2011 by Aaron Hope | 36 comments

Nike released packs of Transformers-themed sneakers around the release of Michael Bay’s first two films in 2007 and ’09, and while they were all exceptionally true to their inspirations, we doubt anyone in Beaverton expected things to get so literal in the wake of the third film’s DVD release. These aren’t the exact same models used in the aforementioned TF movie collabos, but that doesn’t mean these chopped up kicks don’t look like they just made that distinctive morphing sound. Models like the Air Jordan III ‘Pure’, Nike Air Stab and several others have been remade in robotic shapes that still preserve the shoes’ key lines so you can easily identify their natural form. Click through to get a look at the whole run created by TransShoe Formers and let us know which ones are the good guys.

This a unique and innovative art form. Loved the tanks. Not so much the guns. I would like to see larger heads, but that could be non-trans. Anyhow, I find them all delightful!! When will we see you in the news?

I know this guy he only uses shoes people give him to use or ones that he finds for deals. If you are interested I can put you in touch with him he does charge but it is worth it to do this with whatever shoes you want. Oh and btw he lives in Seattle and the work is dope!
Far from original...google Transformers x Nike Free, way cooler imho cuz they would actually transform back into a shoe...these, all he did was glue some sneaker parts onto a robot exoskeleton...those calling it art, yeah, its art, but FAR from being great art...
you're completely wrong. This is 100% original, his own vision using an actual sneaker. While some could definitely do this, most could not come close to what this guy has done. I googled the transformers x Nike Free, those are awesome as well. Any fan of transformers would love it all.
that shit is hot point blank
Ya he chopped em up, but its better than sitting in a box not being worn. Now they can properly be displayed
hey air max 2003, haven't seen those in a long time
THEY WERE PROBABLY FAKES THAT HE CHOPPED UP. HE TOOK GARBAGE AND MADE IT ART . NO WASTE THERE.
you complain on every article bruh!
those sneakers sucked dude!!! he brung back to life man!!!
I hope those shoes were old and beat up. Talented, however.
can it transform into a wearable sneaker?
Thats pretty cool. u can comment on if there a waste on not, but he did it on his own shoes, so its not a waste to the dude that made em. tbh honest tho, and this might be a little harsh cus im no artist myself, but the pure 3's and the asics look really quality, but the others look a little bit out of an arts/crafts classroom.
Exactly, you got people on here all emotional and upset as if he broke in their home, stole their shoes and chopped em up.
Love it. Creative af man.
Haters gon hate but this is great work. Yeah he chopped up some dope shoes but he took something rare and made it a 1 of 1. That's 100.
they did destroy the kicks but u must admit, tht is hella cool
That's art right there.
those were probaly some of you b grades thats why they did that
Yea thats creative but no real sneakerhead would do that to their sneakers.
Basically you admitted to being a HYPEBEAST.
waste of a good shoe
Why would you chop up a pair of kicks?
Why not? If he paid for em, he could do whatever he want to em.
Where can I copp?
in cybertron!
stupid. waste.
sneakers are art. you make what you want out of them. far from stupid if someone has this much vision to change a shoe into a robot
thats fuckin talent! shout out to you boi!
LLooks like my grandmas transforming vibrator.
What will they think of next...
LMAO
