When a wear-test sample pops up a few years out from the release of a particular sneaker, it’s always interesting to think of how the slight alterations may have changed the public perception of the model. The shoe in question here is the Air Jordan XX3, a release that Jordan Brand put a bit of extra effort into to commemorate reaching that milestone number. While the overall shape of this alternate version is clearly the same, the differences come in the details-namely the more angular pattern stitched onto the sides of the sneaker. In addition to this, the tongue treatment is different, with stitched on logos as opposed to the laser etching that showed up on the release pair. Keen eyes will also be able to spot the altered signature script printed on the low end of the toebox.
